I ran BFG AT's since teh late 80's No complaints I cjhanged to Cooper AT3 about 5 years ago, the only difference and the reason I changed is the 60,000 mile waranty and were cheaper when I bought them. I think the BFG's will live forever!

I bought those same tires for my commuter. Drove it almost exclusively on gravel for years, and was really impressed with how well the treads held up relative to the old tires that got absolutely shredded by gravel.

I've had the original bfgoorich kos on my old truck and they were awesome and lasted close to 70,000 miles fantastica ll around tire. fast forward to around summer of 2016 I bought a jeep wrangler and I had michelin tires on there and around the fall of that same year those tires were so dry rotted I thought they were going to shatter like glass so I bought a set of bfg all terrain ko2s and I've never been happier and after around 45 to 50,000 miles they still look brand new. a few years ago I was at my brother's cabin and it had snowed at least 2 inches or more and his driveway is a pretty steep incline and without 4wheel drive you would not make it up it at all and these tires handled it like it was nothing. If you have a truck or suv or jeep with 4wheel drive I would totally get these tires. I live in Minnesota and in previous winters when we had lots of snow my jeep was an absolute tank with these tires. I bought the set of bfg all terrains ko2s in 2016 and as of 2024 8 years and going strong.

I'm sure there's better tires out there but, I haven't found them! Now, time to get that "Over-lander" you were building out some more and show us how well they handle that Tennessee mud! I bought KO2 for my 2023 4Runner Ltd to travel from Florida to Canada in March 2023 and I've put about 10K miles on them. I went to Blowing Rock, NC mid-January 2024 and experienced awesome snow and ice traction with these tires. The biggest downfall of them is the 2-3 mpg loss over my 245/60R20 street tires. Mainly due to the tread pattern and the KO2 are mounted on TRD Pro wheels, so the tires are 265/70R17. Well worth the peace of mind though.

I got 72k out of my last K02s with decent tread left with a good bit of it being road miles. You have to rotate them a lot. I found they are tough durable tires, but hard, heavy, and stiff. Never had a flat, had nails pulled out that had bent over in the rubber, but didn't pierce the tire.

I've haven't heard anything bad about the KO2's except that they're lacking for deep mud performance, ironically probably because 'snow tires' are designed to gum up cuz snow on snow is good traction... no so much for mud. But yea, other than that... I considered getting a set but ultimately went with general grabber ATx because they're cheaper, designed nearly the same and my first set of AT2 (the predecessor of the atx, same tire essentially) we amazing and I got 45k miles on the first set with 40% tread left. Highly recommend.

My understanding is the "3 peak snowflake" version were always 50k mile warranty. That's pretty much standard for the competition as well. I do know select sizes are NOT available in "3 peak rating" how that affects wear, I don't know. Think it's more to combat chunking/tearing from rock crawling/gravel use....

@1ROAD If u want to see better and feel safer for both on-road and off-road, ur 95’ chevy suburban deserves better automotive led lighting upgrade. I know u got diode dynamics yellow off-road pod flush mount pod lights. But u need some super bright 6000k pure white led. And I highly recommend Lasfit. For ur low beams and high beams, lasfit LA plus Ur front turn signals is Lasfit - T3 series turn signal lights, ur rear turn signal/brake lights is also T3 series. Ur license plate lights and ur interior lights needs lasfit products. And for ur reverse light, Lasfit T series, I believe it’s T15 size. I’m not sure yet but, if it is a T15 size, get the T series. They are as bright as halogen low beam headlights. Those are better high quality led bulb replacements. And I would honestly say ur old auxbeam fanless led bulbs on ur other Chevy suburban, needs to be replace with Lasfit - LA plus with a cooling fan. They are nice, very compact, very reliable, and it will always be cool a lot more led. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Which means much brighter and much more krisp 6000k pure white light. U should really consider that.
