If you're trying to fix a clip like the one that snapped, next time use superglue and sprinkle some baking soda on top. It hardens instantly and hardens ALOT harder than normal. You can even completely replace the clip by making one out of super glue and baking soda sometimes.

I had a weak tension spring on belt tensioner and the "new" alternator was slipping and heating the alternator pulley and cooked the sealed bearing on the "new" alternator. Finally after replacing the tension device it loaded the "new" alternator / bearing with cooked grease and the shaft burned off in less than 5 miles of driving. Believe it or not no real noise except when serpentine belt made a very high amplitude bang slinging the alternator pulley and piece of shaft about the engine compartment. The tensioner being loose probably heated all of the pulleys but the Alternator responded first. I never trust a tensioner past 50K.

Rainx does work. Water, gunk and ice stick less for a longer period of time. This is from personal experience. It takes a little bit of work to apply, but easy, and it delivers as advertised.

I hope I can get an answer. -- I have a Kia soul 2012 2.0L automatic. The compressor has been leaking a drop for some time. I tried to stop it with RTV silicone but not luck. The car has 74K miles, A/C is cooling fine, and compressor is working. Do you think I will need to replace expansion valve and Drier with 74K miles and the system working just fine? -- I already bought a brand-new compressor (OEM), and planning for next year to change it. summer is coming and I live in the desert with 110 degrees. I keep my car in good shape. I'm not a stupid kid keeping the car full of garbage, and never take care of their car, so now you know how my car will be. -- I will appreciate any reply. Thank you for this video and your answers.

You’d think someone would’ve made some stainless braided hoses that thread right into the oil filter adapter, thusly eliminating the quick disconnect junk.

Dont listen to the people giving you crap abt the "parts cannon" thing. I do the same thing with my 2005 Silverado. It only has 268,000 miles on it, so there are a few original parts on it. I have no problem replacing old parts as a matter of course. I have not had car payments since 2007. I am a retired aircraft mechanic so I am well aware of "old parts".

The problem is actually the intake manifold and engine being manufactured/ constructed Improperly and therefore the surfaces not being perfectly plane.

I used sea foam on my catless lexus and it smoked out my whole neighborhood. I knew going into it it was only creating deposits in my intake due to leaking valve seals "I had to pull the intake off for the starter" and since I was catless, you could certainly notice a hint of oil smell after the cleaning that was not there before, likely due to the carbon deposits sealing the valve and no longer being there.

I do pretty much the same operation. The only thing that I do different is to 1) loosen the nut until I hear the tap, 2) tighten the nut until the tapping stops 3) tighten the nut another full turn 4) loosen the nut 1/2 turn. That is just the way that my dad taught me to do it about 55 years ago. It always worked for me.

Just a tip its a returnless fuel system, there is no need to "prime" it, any air in the system is going to get compressed into the rail and purged when the injectors open, that is how returnless systems work.

This stuff is SOO bad as an oil additive, if you check out oil samples after using it, it highly dilutes oil and boils at only 212°F. It literally evaporates and can cause way more wear. The Oil Geek YT vid breaks this down perfectly with scientific facts for anyone that doesnt believe it.
