Күн бұрын

Lucy was diagnosed with breast cancer only 3 days after her 24th birthday. After her mother's second breast cancer diagnosis, both Lucy and her mom found out they had the BRCA1 mutation. Lucy developed a lump in her breast only a few months later. Although her doctors thought it was likely only fibrous tissue, Lucy advocated to keep pushing for tests. A biopsy revealed the lump was grade 3 triple-negative breast cancer.
In this conversation, she shares how she processed her diagnosis, the feeling of losing her femininity and how she found support from her mother, a two-time cancer survivor.

Hi when I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 47years old when I first went to see GP she did not think it was cancer but sent me for tests they also thought it was not cancer as it was a lump I could move around under the skin but when the test came back I was stage 2 I had the lump removed and that was 9years ago I think you got to think positive and strong and you will be OK thanks for telling people your stories martine in uk

Did I miss something? Where is she? I haven't seen her on recent videos, but I thought maybe they were just changing up how these were done.

@JMR - Oh my goodness, I am so sorry if I made you worry about lovely Stephanie. My message was from 5 months ago. Yes, you are so right that things have been changed up in the interview process. Stephanie didn't do as many interviews as I would imagine she was busy doing other things. Therefore, my comment was to let Stephanie know that her presence was greatly missed. Again, I am so sorry to have worried you. I will be more mindful. I hope this message is reassuring to you. It seems we all love and adore Stephanie! ❤️😊❤️
