So sorry to hear about your fence and your plants Steph, the weather has changed so much over the years and it really scares me too, we had a very bad Storm on sat night and 70mph gusts of winds, the polytunnel narrowly missed getting smashed by our big black bin flying though the air and over the top of our polytunnel to miraculously land at the back gate, it was a miracle it missed, our next door neighbour had his lovely nice big shed totally smashed by another neighbours flying falling roof tiles, thats a very good idea with stocking up on shade cloth for the summer especially as our new poly is much lighter, thanks so much Steph for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a terrific Tuesday XXXX

It was such a relief that all the plants got through the icy spell well, the heater can be a bit pricy to run during the very cold weather as the heater is running almost constantly to keep the minimum thermostat setting at 5c, and it runs at 1KW an hour ( around 32p an hour ) but now its much milder it rarely kicks on unless the air temp drops below 5c, we always dread our elec bill in winter haha, but we have cut back on having the grow lights on as much and try to cut the elec costs that way, thanks so much Ziggy for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Jackie lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a terrific Tuesday XXXX
