I love Matt's attitude. I can't believe or understand how anyone can buy a Corvette to leave it parked in a garage. Corvettes were designed to be driven! I can't afford to own a Corvette today, but when I did own one it was driven. You haven't lived until you have driven a 68 vette with a 435 horse 427 cu in in the snow. (Not as scary as you might think) So if you own a Corvette, follow Matt's example and drive it.

He has made so many people jealous I just got back from the Corvette bash in Eureka Springs Arkansas and I was in heaven. Now watching this has to put the end to a perfect day. Just finished watching YOUR BEST VLOG EVER! You’ve come up with some great vlogs in the past but you’ve outdone yourself this time! To go out with someone like Techno Nerd (compliment) Matt and show his passion for his hobby is VERY reminiscent of Chuck and Corvettes918. Thanks for filling part of that void. And thank you Matt for sharing what you have done with your awesome car. It is definitely a one off. He could have easily gone out and BOUGHT a Z06 but you could tell, like a lot of us, he enjoys tinkering with his car. I won’t be going as far as he did but the tires and software upgrade are definitely in the future for mine.

This guy is awesome. A little secrete, I own a 2013 Shelby Super Snake and I am to it like Matt is to his baby. His car is not garish just perfect. I love all cars and had to watch this because there should be no haters of any car. If everyone admired and cared for their cars like this it would be awesome. Way to go "Conti" for this interview.

Matt, I understand the hobby aspect, and your approach to adding anything to your car, is that you have to integrate the add on with the computers, first and foremost, otherwise you can have a mess. One suggestion, in watching your driving technique from an HPDE instructors perspective, you could derive tremendous gains by taking an HPDE track day. The proper driving techniques you would learn and apply to the street would greatly multiply the gains you have made on your car and make you much better and safer. ( and save me from cringing as I watch. LOL) Rick and Matt awesome job, I learned a lot. Mark Michigan City

This dude does a better job then the factory dudes. He’s giving all the options we want that chevy is clueless to. I want this dude to install all the cameras in mine. The cameras are the best thing ever. I still don’t understand why Chevy doesn’t offer at the very least the front camera option to us guys who have the Stingray that does not have the front camera. That is the #1 option we want. #2 option for us is we wish chevy would give the option to add the extra bass bose speaker for us who got the basic bose system. Just these 2 simple no biggie options could increase sales at dealerships. And what company is against making more easy money? See these titan car manufacturers do an overall great job at making cars. But where there behind is always in the options that customers want. Thats the reason theres a whole aftermarket industry. Because there filling that HUGE void the car manufacturers completely miss. Theres a easy simple fix Chevy could do to learn what options the customers want with there specific Corvette model they want. Just put on there website a survey and have each Corvette model and each package they have for each model like 1LT , 2LT and so on. And the customers who lets say want a basic Stingray with 1LT. On the site they can see all the options that come with that. And then the customer can add a comment on what option they would want thats not in that model. They could read this and see what people want and they could easily add 1 or 2 of the most requested options. Its a win win. But they dont do this, and thus a genius like this guy has to add the things himself. But the rest of us average intelligence people just stuck with just wishing on 1 or 2 options that we will never get.

Browsing some of your old Vlogs and came across this one. I think this is one of the most informative post things you’ve ever had. I got some good ideas for my 2014 Z 51. I have never been one to tinker with cars. My dad couldn’t get me near a car when I was growing up, I was more interested in tinkering with girls. But the bug has bitten me with my Corvette, and I can’t wait to get home and have some time to make some additions to the car. I might give you a call in the future about the possibility of trading up to a grand sport. I’m just particular in the color and the package that I want. If I give you a list of must-have’s, maybe something will come across your lot that I might like. Who knows? Anyway, thank you very much for this Vlog.

Your Corvette (for many) becomes family, so you build on where all the love is instead of replacing it. Matt is a family kind of guy, even with his games and computers. They are family and will always be with him (and his Vette). I am truly happy for him. We just bought a 2019 Z06 and because we bought it together we'll have it forever!

That was a long vlog, but it was so dang interesting that it didn't seem long at all! I wasn't ready for it to end. Great job, great content, amazing ideas! Matt definitely has some skills.

A very different video Rick, well done. This guy has some really cool add ons. I must agree with Matt on GM’s sales techniques. Dangling the carrot and slowly rolling out each upgrade on the base model makes sense to me because it’s human nature to want to have the latest and greatest, allowing them to have the highest sales. It could be compared to cell phone sales, people just have to have that new phone. Anyway thanks for the great video.👍🏻

Just ordered the owlcam! I had one that was pointed out was wireless and only worked when the car was running. Going to look into the mag ride software update as well! Way cool!!! Thank you for the video!!!!

I’ve done the mag ride software upgrade. I really enjoy the difference. I’d be interested in watching Chuck do a software upgrade in the service department.
