The 2019 Tata Steel Masters is a 14-player single round-robin taking place from 12-27 January. For its 81st edition the tournament boasts six Top 10 players including World Champion Magnus Carlsen and former champions Vladimir Kramnik and Vishy Anand. As well as the traditional venue in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands, rounds will be played in Alkmaar (16 January) and in Leiden (23 January).
The time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves, then 15 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment per move from move 1. If two or more players tie for first place then a 2-game blitz (5+3) playoff and, if still tied, an Armageddon game will be held 15 minutes after all the games in the Masters and Challengers have finished, though the monetary prizes will be shared evenly. Funny thing, I never pause the videos I just enjoy the show so to speak, but just after he said “Really pause the video here” the video froze for like 20 seconds.. Agadmator is on another level

Agadmator: There is only one move here that is good for white and that is... Me: Say knight to D5, please please please. Agadmator: Knight to E2, which is what Carlsen played. Let's just see what happens if you play something like knight to D5 (short explanation) and you lose your passed pawn and it is all over.

Another symptom is watching old Agad videos because of withdrawal spasms and smirking at the early day quality but then burst in tears and crying like a baby for a new video

And it was on this year, on year 2019, that Romario Salas suscribed to agadmator's chess channel. Why did he suscribe? Well, let's see: you might think that there are other chess channels on youtube equally good, but this does not work. If Romario moves to another channel, agadmator has this resource of moving his new videos to his channel, opening up a nasty discovery against the other channels. Wherever the other channels should go, agadmator will always be able to push for an advantage and will ultimately win this game.

I have watched several videos (on agadmator's Chess Channel), where Carlsen somehow beats opponents in endgame with one piece and some pawns . I think he, rightfully, is the "God of Endgames".

when magnus plays and it's a drawn endgame, his opponent is thinking 'why is he still playing, pretty much any move i make draws' then after a few more moves, he is thinking 'I have three good drawing moves, i can draw this all day.' But magnus keeps pushing, and after some more moves it becomes 'I have a drawing move here, I should be fine' before they inevitably blunder and Magnus is left in a completely winning position. That is why he is the world champion.

Anand over pushed at 10.41 and could of just played Kf5 to secure the remis with trapping the knight. He made to bad moves, and you just cant do that againt Carlsen, he looks to be on top of his game atm. Edit: also great to have you back! Hope youre feeling better soon.

I love this channel so far, however it would be interesting if you included the chess titles / elo rating at the time the game was played next to their names - especially when you cover lesser known players. (Everyone should be familiar w Carlsen and Anand, but i've had this idea for a while and just decided to post it on the most recent vid.
