@erolbarut982 жыл бұрын
perhaps It would be impossible to defend queen side pawns. In my experience when center is open two rooks easily dominates a queen and if there are pawns at the both side of the board two you can use king only to defend one side of the board and two rook can attack a square twice while single queen can't. While both position is really hard to play it is hard to decide to give up material to go such tough engame

@danielcamachofrancabandier83922 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing.
@bumbarabum9152 жыл бұрын
Not really, after queen takes knight, u play Rc4, if Qd5, white doubles up on the c file. There are other ways to go, but white will win another pawn either way and the rooks will outplay the queen with being a pawn up. Correct me if I’m wrong.
@syedtauheednabi23572 жыл бұрын
@@bumbarabum915black can hide his queen behind the pawn on c5, from c6 he'll constantly put pressure on white's a4 pawn and white will eventually trade it for the c5 pawn, then he can probably hold this with all the play shifting to the kingside... bcz when the pawns will start marching forward king will be wide open for black to constantly check it, not sure if that will be a draw ... but at least that would give far better chances to black than the line shown in the video

7:09 I think in that position i would just take the pown with the rook. you still can handle 2 rook with 1 queen I think
@trequor2 жыл бұрын
Not on an open board with a passed pawn like this. The rooks can protect each other and the pawn and the queen alone can't checkmate the king or make a perpetual in this position. White can eventually force black to give up the queen for the passed pawn or a rook and then it's completely winning for white. Two rooks is technically considered than a queen, but it is close and depends on position.
