About Rakesh Raghunathan
Rakesh Raghunathan is a South Indian culinary ambassador, whose vision is to showcase the rich heritage of the region to audiences across the world. This is my father favorite lunch place when he was in (Nelcast private limeted) Unlimited chappthi with dishes. So taste and people come with kulka chapati hot and serving any qty. Also rice dall available with curd. Two type of mixture quantity they served. Most of the time he started from office to Leyland by 1pm and straight away go there with hungry mood. Do he take lots of chappthi with dishes in full stomach. Cost also not much. I thought of one day I will go by train .and he recommended many people's from leyland he brought here .now my father age is 75 what a great memorise he shared with me I msgd here now also he is active person 🤩💐

Rakesh, you stirred our childhood memories of visiting Parry’s Corner with the elders and yearned for those very special Sohan Halwa, Crisp, yet melted in our mouths with that aromatic ghee taste ! Not to forget that this sweet was unheard in Chennai until this shop came up ! Happy to watch the video showing us how the son is keeping the flag flying high !!

I liked because the owner of the restaurent giving respect to his father and his word and giving homely food to the people who migrated from their native. We can live anywhere for studies and job or business,but we should not forget our native place,its own culture,tradition,cuisine. I am from Tamil Nadu but living in Maharashtra Jai Bharatham

best restaurant in the world. I say this, after having lived for 10 years in US, 10 years in Canada, travelled across UK, and travelled and lived extensively across India for 25 years before moving to te western world- Agrawal Bhojanalya is the best restaurant in the world!

It’s an old place where I have taken food in the past. Now it costs Rs.290 and another 20 extra ghee for Bhati. If you are a normal eater taking 2-3 chapatis, 1-2 small Bhati with small cups of veggies,dal,curd it is expensive and difficult to reach as car parking is impossible even in NSC Bose Road. Gujarati Bhavan in the same area is a better choice. One can visit for nostalgia as this food is now available in every area of Chennai w/o Bhati of course. In Rajasthan Bhati is made from coal fired Tandoor but here it is made on gas fire. Thanks for posting.

Wow, looks yummy. Parrys corner is always a heart throb of Chennai still it continues what ever a person needs whether it’s domestic or surgical, Home appliances, costumes, jewellery , groceries everything you get with high quality and varieties Still we purchase everything from these area only, inspite of lots malls , shops around our corners . Appreciated your efforts by bringing these specialities from hook and corner of our,chn, TN, India..

Marwadi basa food-great. During my work life in various parts of India , I would search out the best veg food joint-Basa & enjoy the very wholesome food. I got the first taste of this food during my hostel days in Engg. College in North & loved it. During my visit to mount Abu in oct.18- tasted first time dal-bati choorma. Lovely, nutritious & hygenic, great taste plus the way the server guided me how to eat.👌👍

0:31 to 0:40 so true people from North India thinks that South Indian food is only about Idli, Dosa, Vada, Uthappa but it's not like that there is very rich food culture of Southern India.. Love from Maharashtra ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I once again say this- Agrawal Bhojanalay in Sowcarpet Chennai is THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD. I have travelled all over the world and eaten food at all the best restaurants in India, US, Canada (100% Veg of course) but this restaurant is BETTER than all of those places ! AMAZING PLACE FOR VEG FOOD!

the shop is ok, but still one drawback, if you have your food in the afternoon you will not get hunger for dinner, that means unethical preparation of food, other than this drawback it is good
