Amazing finds Alex! Glad to see that the whole family got to get out rockhounding together. Kip seems like such a sweet boy. Looking forward to seeing those bigger pieces slabbed up. When you do that video can you please show us the crystals in the end vug in that biggest agate? It looked like it had a few decent sized crystals inside. I love watching some of the yellowstone you tuber rock hounds...beauties galore. You are so lucky. Of course I have Michigan's great lake beaches. Every place we travel has something to offer. #Mybucketlist...to rockhound the yellowstone!

At 10:14 there is a spotted rock in the lower left. This is the kind of rocks, altho this is a small one, that we find in A river in the se part of BC (East Kootenay) all over the place. You may want to relook at this, as it is packed full of aquatic fossils, since you know where you were hunting that day. We are going to be rockhounding the YR in early Aug, and would really like to hook up with you and Kate. Of course, we will bring stuff from here to trade with your knowledge and guiding.

Good question. I wish there was more information in general. Either way they are by far the rarest variant of chalcedony on the Yellowstone.
