Kunnin krew forgettable?! Whaaat. They, are pretty darn solid, cool sculpts (krookgrin is purely awesome) and far less forgettable than the superbland Stabladz! My2cents 😌

Yes! Every single Stormcast warband is living in Blandsville. Too many of to he damn shiny things. The Pirate warband is such an oddly themed warband it wasn't forgotten, just bad. The mechanical dwarfs are probably the least used around our parts, along with the latest few undead (headless curse etc).

Oooh, some spicy takes here! For me, Khagra's Ravagers are very unforgettable - they were the first waband to have a plot card, their lore (feuding sisters fighting for control of the warband) and representation of said lore in-game is incredible, and while they're not top-table power they're decent strength and very fun to play. My most forgettable warband, personally, would be Grashrak's Despoilers. Minimal lore, nice but not special models, and they just never really made an impact on me.

Pete and I have both played Grashraks quite a bit so that maybe why we didn't include them. Though of course we can't rule out that we both just forgot them...

I personally think the Khagra's Ravagers were let down by having rules that weren't great......now they they only need 2 counters that are decent in Rivals. It's a shame they weren't more competitive on release, because their models and backstory are really awesome. Also (in my opinion at least) Chaos Warriors are probably the most iconic miniature in the whole grand alliance Chaos. Definitely agree on the Stormcast.....they all just feel kind of the same, look kinda of the same, and are just kind of well....blah....

Among the Stormcast, I don't have Xandire or Domitan, but in the old days I really did like Stormsire's Cursebreakers (they're still quite fun to use). I would have thought the new Farstriders deck would have given them new life, but I never did like the Vanguard design, while Steelheart and Ironsoul were painful. I suppose if the target didn't move it would have been fun to scrap with them, but nope.

Oh noes... 🤣 I never forgot about Khagra's Ravagers. My favourite warband. Played it so much in Rivals that I got them to a "decent" level. They can never reach Domitan/Ephilim levels ofc. And one of my best buddies plays the Kunning Krew all the time. They are pretty good too, with a nice leader, inspiring with supports and quite some shenanigans. Sad to see they went so unnoticed. For me, it would be (as you pointed) all the Stormcast warbands before Domitan. Indeed they all kinda looked the same to me, and pretty bland too.

While we have a player in our group sticking to the Buccaneers, and myself currently working on the Condemnors, those are alive in my mind. However, the other ogre warband, the Mantrappers, or The Eyes of The Nine are bands long drifted from memory, the later due to Ephilim being so all around. And if it weren't for myself playing Morgwaith (for visual aesthetics ;-) ) those ladies would quickly drift from memory due to the Arenai just being an upgraded, better version of them.

I agree with Guardians. Anyway all the other picks we actually do see at local tournaments down here and they can have decent results. So I quite disagree with your list. If I was to put up 5 warbands that are truly forgotten, my picks would be: Ilthari's Guardians, Ironskull's Boyz, Grashrak Despoilers, Thundrik's Profiteers and The Cursebreakers. These are warbands I have not seen for ages.

I'd love to get my hands on the buccaneer warband. That just looks like a lovely theme! Maybe do a similar thing with the mirrored city re release.

I have fallen off this game quite a while ago, so i don't know most of the recent warbands, but the goat half of the beastgrave set never really played all that well and its the one warband I own that I forget about ;) Though I do use thrm occasionally for RPGs or mini agnostic wargames

I am surprised the Shadestalkers didn't make the list. They were solid when Nethermaze came out, but once Feature Tokens no longer were cover and started cover side up they basically became useless. Haven't seen anyone play them in about 2 years at this point. Shame because they are gorgeous models and were legitimately fun to play back when they premiered.

They’ve always had a special place in Robins heart because of the models but yes they got hit hard when objectives flipped back

What's the beast one that comes in Gnarlwood? That should be on this list for sure. Godsworn Hunt. I agree with Ravagers, but I think Reavers should be in the list too. Hrothgorn. Maybe, because there are 10 million warbands (as you said) this could have been a top 10 (bottom 10?).

The despoilers? We might be biased but they remain strong in our memory as beastgrave was peak excitement for us and robin took them to an event

Xandire's Truthseekers are some excellent sculpts but they SUCK SO BAD!!! However, I recently had some luck with them using Rimelocked Relics in Rivals format. I find the goat boys from Beastgrave to be pretty forgettable, myself.

Just like the Wurmspat, Eyes of the Nine and Morgwaeth's Blade Coven, they are bad, but too many of us loved them and tried too hard to make them work, that they'll likely never be forgotten.

Its a shame we don't see more of Ironsoul's Condemners as there a really good warband that can dish out lots of damage. I don't remember a lot of the early warbands cause no one plays where i live :(

I appreciate the blanked Stormcast disrespect. They don’t get enough hate. At least Domitan is mildly unique but yeah they all blend in with each other.
