Thanks for posting. Extra set of hands is always helpful. Good on you to be able to sit of the floor well you assembled. Been many years since l could a sit like that. How about a power actuator to open and close the shoot!! Cheers

Hey Daryl. So far I can still get down on the floor and work just fine. It's the getting up that can be the challenge. LOL. Power actuator would be awesome. The reason the handle on the actuator was so long (before I cut it off) was so you could change it while sitting on the mower. But I am just not willing to remove that bagger every time I want to use the spreader. Great hearing from you as always.

Nice Vid.. finally found one like I got.. apparently there were a few versions over a decade or so. Yeah, the lever control assembly is on slots.. you can slide it (then tighten) to adjust the full closure of the gate. May figure a way to rig an external ON/OFF that I can control from the operator. Once put together, looks like a decent design. Thanks..

Yeah, it has worked quite well. I was paying about $60 every 6 weeks for them to come out and make my yard nicer. Now that I am doing it it looks better than it ever has. This thing works great and has proven to save me money and the cherry on top is that it looks better than before. I appreciate it Mark.
