To celebrate Halloween we visited a farmer with long ties to traditional Irish magic.
Pat Noone is a farmer in Galway with a strong belief in fairies - he has a fairy portal and a fairy fort on his land that he says has brought him much luck.

Many years ago I was having panic attacks and after a particularly rough day, I went and sat in the garden (in those days I was a party girl). I was in a terrible state. All of a sudden a great peace came upon me and I just knew it was was from the trees and plants. It totally changed me. Years later I told a therapist about it and she said to me "you know that wasn't real". I never went back to her as it was such a sacred experience and I know it was very real.

As a kid, I saw 3 entities that I thought were fairies, but they don't fit any description I have ever heard. They didn't have wings, they just looked like the tiniest of humans, about 8 inches tall, females. They spoke English, though it was like an older version, more archaic. They saw me, and the older one of the three turned and looked at me, just staring at me for a long time, then said "she's no harm". Then my mother called me and I turned around, when I looked back, they were gone - but never to be forgotten by me. Amazing!

I built houses for the fairies when I was a child. I get whispers from them always. They are benevolent with me, and fierce with anyone who hurts me. Or ...plans to hurt me. I will always love them.

I was planting succulents and pansies below a tree in my sister's garden, and the tree spoke to me, he said "thank you for making me beautiful again". Got the fright of my life.

I had goosebumps all through the video! My great grandmother was from Mooncoin, a village right outside Kilkenny. I've always believed and have had a lot of unexplained experiences. Now in midlife I'm getting acquainted with my heritage and the natural magic that's inherent to Celtic people. 🍃🌳☘️🧚🏻‍♂️🕯️🪟🌟📖

As a child, I was lost in a forest behind my grands home. I found a pond and sat there praying for direction. I heard giggles and words. I saw tiny light bugs dancing all around the area I was in, a white unicorn, a large toad, elves to name a few that had surrounded me. There were quite a bit of fairies too...small, short, tall ( 5ft. Some taller ), all shapes and sizes. Mostly males. The white fur unicorn led the way back to grannie and poppa’s home. At the end of the forest, the unicorn looked back at me....I looked behind me at the fairies, light bugs and other little mystical beings who were ensuring me that I was safe and are now home. I walked passed the unicorn..seeing the house, the bull in the fence, chickens all over the yard, the pigs and a hog in their space.......and granny at the screen door looking out for me, I were so happy. I turn to thank all all the mystical beings, but they were all gone. Not even the path that we’d traveled were visible any longer. I explained to both of my gramps what had happened. When I’d finish talking, they looked at each other with very bright-twinkling stars in their eyes and the biggest smile ever. No words were said. That was about 50 years ago, and I still think about those bright stars in their eyes🕯

When I was little (about 3?) and found out my family was moving, they said I went around to all the trees and bushes, hugged them each and said 'Goodbye'. I don't remember this (had a lot of health problems growing up), but when I visited family in NC (mountain side) years ago I went on a night hike up the mountain. On the way back down the path I saw a light just off it and followed it. It led me to the most magical experience I've ever had. In this opening in the woods was thousands of fireflies dancing around. My logic side of my brain said it was just insects, but everything else said it was so much more.

So important that there are more of us working with nature spirits like this wonderful man. They want to heal the land with us.

This man brought tears to my eyes. I feel so thankful there are still persons like this man on Earth, who still keep the roots alive, feelings that are not contaminated by this too physical society we most are immersed in.

I love this... I would see fairies in a bush area by my childhood home, now it's built over by a resthome. Even when i was that young I knew they were sacred.
