"Melody Pond" always makes me well up. We know she grew up into River and we know her strength, her love, her courage. But Amy and Rory lost their little girl and that's how that storyline is left. They have their best friend but they don't have their daughter.

I've been listening to this nonstop for two days. I just play it in the background while I play my games - and let me tell ya - 11's theme is epically amazing during team fights in League of Legends. Totally gets you pumped and in the zone to kick some ass!

A true masterpiece, the work by Murray Gold is not replaceable. I hope I’m wrong because he has left the show. His works give me chills and make you feel inspired. The pieces he wrote for the show are the doctor. I know the show changes with time, and I hope I’m wrong and I can feel something from listening to it. I haven’t gotten goosebumps from the newest season. They play the audio quieter and it’s just so plain. The soundtrack should have impact but it’s non existence. Yes I’m biased, but it’s just that I love the old soundtracks.

I think what helped make Murray Gold’s music for DW was the orchestral aspect, with hints of voices in the backgrounds. The added voices, real people huffing or singing in the background (sometimes in Latin), that added a Roman touch to some of his music. Rome use to be the centre of the world, the pinnacle of soldiers and war. Allowing that to seep through pieces of music let people who have heard Roman music to feel like they’re unstoppable - like they’re the entire Roman Empire. Murray Gold is simply a genius when it comes to music. It’s brilliant that he is back to Doctor Who, because he is the reason why we all grew up listening to powerful masterpieces - pieces of music that can never be beat.

These are the only songs that feel me whole emotions at the same time. When I was listening, one side of me feels sad for Amy Pond and River Song and other side of me feels happy for Doctor's incredible mind and power of the capabilities to do.
