hello and thank you for reviewing the event I have question about using chatgpt4o , I am free user and download and tried the app and on the web, but not all features are available, I mean I have access to voice chat but it is not in real time like the demo showed, and it doesn't have access to my cam or sending files could you please tell me if it is because of using in free mode? am I supposed to have a premium account to use those excellent features?

I got acess to the new chatgpt version, but its quite limited, I hope they increase the quantity of messages you can send and substantially increase the messages of the plus tier too, I use the free tier 😊

So.....how do you use the voice feature? I want to use it to take up the time of the robo dialers, to talk to them to fruitlessly take up their time automatically. Fight fire with fire. But I go to 4o and there's no voice feature there.

5:05 im sure youve noticed by now or someone else has pointed out the brutal reverb echo at the time stamp over tagged. Im guessing after the first time you paused openai's 4o teaser where you commented and gave context, when it resumed the echo started and it isnt there when you comment the second time, double play back of the openai clip perhaps? I mean, 4o is supercool but on daily basis usage version 4 for free is a great deal for the majority of users, isn't it?

Looks like this AI can tell me jokes as I set it up to watch me work and tutor me step by step in fixing my car, building my own house, doing a conversion van build and on and on...

Although my paid subscription ChatGPT Pro has begun offering the ChatGPT 4o version, when I ask it to create a beautiful image in sepia tones with a 3 verse poem that it creates about Nature ... it does a great job with the beautiful sepia background image that depicts a Nature scene, and it composes the 3 verse poem that is pretty good, and it places the verses within the image ... but all the words are gibberish, except maybe one or two words. The rest has a some recognizable letters, but it's definitely NOT like the writing you show in the OpenAi samples ... I tried the same request with ChatGPT 4o, also with regular ChatGPT 4, and also with just DALL-E ... all of them did the same thing, pretty background image of Nature in sepia but the poem is written in gibberish and many words have partially formed letters. So my question is whether the samples shown on the OpenAi website, are they something that will be coming in the future, or is this new ChatGPT 4o (using DALL-E) supposed to already be able to form these words including handwriting?

It's not all that it seems. The voice feature is only available on mobile not on a laptop or PC. On the free tier, after about 10 inputs it will default to GPT-3.5. It's not really democratizing AI for all because the free version is very limited.

All I have to say is I'm glad that OpenAI guy who was talking to GPT4o with the sexy girl voice was sitting with the his lap covered by a desk surface. If you know what I mean.

I don't understand why too much people are so focused on voice feaures. Don't get me wrong, I'm not downvoting GPT-4o, but what's truly insane is that GPT-4o text mode right now is indeed five times faster than 4-turbo (which is truly insane if you actually use it) Also, API pricing is $5/$15 per 1M tokens, which is about 3~5times cheaper than Claude 3 Opus API. That's basically big "F**k U" to Entrophic especially if you are working in an AI-start up company. THAT new API pricing plus benchmark PLUS x5 faster speed is what's TRULY INSANE right now.

I am a paid user. Half the time it fails and just does not do anything or claims it cant. It has severe limitations on the most absurd thing. I tried to ask a a big breasted woman wearing scrubs because the real life person the cartoon character was based on actually looks that way and it told me it could not create porn. I kid you not. 10 times in a row I asked for a clean shaven man and it gave me men with beards even going to say " Here is a man that is clearly clean shaven" but it was NOT. It is so frustrating! And after wasting my time it cuts me off saying my time is used up. I also get 5 legged dogs or dogs with two legs on the hind quarter or a leg coming out of its tail. A toddler is more i telligent than this crap. Its all hype and lies.

I just asked chat GTP for low protein meals for people suffering from PKU. A serious genetic condition 3.5 suggested Tufu which is ridiculously high in protein and would cause serious damage - GTP 4 suggested Hummus dip… another high protein food that would damage many PKU sufferers, beans and peas are not low protein foods. The very first question I asked it failed once more. Chat GTP regularly lies and gives information that sounds good but is completely fabricated and that you missed pointing this out is dangerous. This is just as true for 4, which I was able to find out as a non expert in 10 seconds. Stop the hype.
