Copilot in Dynamics 365 Guides transforms the real world into an input for generative AI, providing assistance to frontline workers in industrial settings. Now, workers can interact with Copilot using natural language and gestures to receive the information they need in real-time with speech and holograms. Mixed reality together with AI presents a human-first interface that promises to accelerate real-world processes. Copilot in Guides holds significant potential for businesses seeking greater efficiency and effectiveness in their operations.

Pedro, did you try Apple Vision Pro? I would like to get one of these devices to create a virtual office for my projects. Im an entrepreneur and I plan ideas and projects for living. So my idea is to create "virtual offices" to invite partners, investors and potential team members. I understand Microsoft HoloLens is more focused in work tasks and Apple Vision Pro are more focused on entertainment at this early stage. I believe you might have an answer for my requirements since you used it :) If not, don't worry hahah :) Thanks! :)
@nickgreiner5168

@nicolasmango290 I have both an original HoloLens and a Magic leap 2 plus an Apple Vision Pro. I don’t have a HoloLens 2 but I have used one before and it is very old at this point (almost 5 years) and the tech inside it is pretty outdated for current see through AR standards, Microsoft hasn’t updated it in forever unfortunately. Magic leap 2 is currently the state of the art for optical see through AR hardware, not Hololens 2. And to answer your question, what do you mean by a “virtual office”? If you just mean getting rid of your monitors and using virtual displays than Apple Vision Pro is by far and away the best option and it’s not even remotely close, honestly it’s really the only headset that if functional at all for that use case. The image quality on HoloLens 2 is awful for looking at text or detailed images, and the field of view is quite small. Magic leap 2’s fov is noticeably better but the image quality still isn’t great for detailed things like text. The image quality is much, much better on Vision Pro than either one of them, and in terms of virtual monitors it is really the only game in town.

It’s quite magical seeing what people called impossible becomes possible. It has been 8 years since I first accidentally bumped into the advertisement video of HoloLens on KZfaq. I was a primary school kid at that time, knowing nothing technical but regarded it as something magical. I remembered that I had shown it to my parents, and received a cold response saying it is just something sci-if. Eight years past, I fortunately got into the top uni in my country, and AI stormed the world. All in a sudden, the world started broad discussion on AR, VR, and AI. It is just too astonishing for me to see something once called sci-if becomes mainstream and even evolves into 2.0. I would like to leave some comment as a remark for myself to come back and see in the next 8 years. Amazing.

I love the way this film depicts humans as being the smart drivers of the technology 'assistant' - it's like an imaginary world where constant automation isn't happening, and human workers aren't being made redundant at a pace we struggle to imagine. Great advert guys. 😵‍💫

@@jonanddy the point of tech in today's world is to reduce costs, improve quality and quantity of output. Where do you see human workers when they are less intelligent than the machines? This advert shows human workers in control of tools which is lovely, but unrealistic imho. Future workspaces will have very, very few human workers. In fact, Elon Musk is having factories built now which will be operated by Optimus robots. The question you should be asking, is what are our governments doing to prepare for the coming transition? We need a lot of intelligence applied to our civil services to reconfigure society now.

I can see where you’re coming from, but having a family business who’s clients technicians are dumb enough to break complex 6 digit worth machines. Which the client’s technician is gonna break either or somehow.
@BrianMosleyUK
@BrianMosleyUK 7 ай бұрын
@@robigan I'm guessing the way it will go, is complex 6 digit machines won't need human technicians... This is amazing, the world of architecture and construction could use something like this... And as for general consumption, I suggest making the user interface and experience more immersive, I noted that most mixed reality operated from 2 dimensional elements like planes being projected similar to how a normal computer screen works, I suggest taking advantage of the spherical extents of the human body and it's ability to move through space other than using 2d representation of 3 dimensional whereby the eye is tricked into thinking it's 3dimensional... The interface is what's important... How a 2d transitions to 3dimension...otherwise iam excited❤❤❤🎉

I'm doing classes piecemeal, and at 41 years old, having to get a degree before getting involved with AI doesn't feel like an option. The people around me are bored or scared away by AI, and it's a fight to get them engaged. The tragedy is they are all computer/coding/techie type people, and I'm the only one who doesn't see an apocalypse in all this. Getting involved with dev conferences over the last few weeks has been great, and I'm pumped for NVIDIA's AI dev day on Friday, but is there anybody here who has smaller, tighter communities to work with? Million-member discords feel way too noisy to interact with comfortably. It'd be vastly preferrable to be able to know most, if not all, of a workgroup.
