I had been air drying and oiling my scalp since 2009, and by the grace of God, I still have hair on my head. I ended up growing my hair 3-4 inches below my bra strap and it wasn’t healthy. See-through ends, and after about 10 or so years, my hair became limp, mushy and super soft to the point where it just wouldn’t even hold a curl. It took over a decade, before I noticed the significant changes. I’m so happy I discovered Cyn's videos and joined her 7 day challenge. In 30 days, my hair transformed. I found an amazing stylist I now go to every two weeks, blow dry my hair, and even after coming home from the gym, I know how to set the bonds so I don’t experience mechanical damage or hygral fatigue. I like that you’re explaining what’s going on instead of just being mad at the clients and not saying why. I was like 22 thinking being natural was good and the stylist was clearly pissed and now I know why. She did not tell me nothing I was doing was wrong. She was just annoyed..but it would have saved me 8 years of damage if I knew

When you do hair from 6am to 10:00pm 6 days a week you get tired of saying the same thing over and over unless in a consultation. Imagine that for 12 years every single day. You would be annoyed too love. That’s why I retired.❤️

Love the video. I always thought I had to put oils butters cremes in my hair and I would on my wash days but wouldn't so much after that. I'm so glad and I'm gonna keep saying this....I'm so glad to know I don't need grease anymore period. I would grease my hair on wash day and that was that cause if I tried to grease it a few days later it would itch itch itch so once a week or every 2 weeks was just fine but now I know what I know. I'm not doing that no more....liberation from the fossil fuel.

I been binge watching your videos and lives the past few days because everything you're saying is describes my hair situation. Initially i learned how to care for my hair on youtube 10 years ago and at first my hair was flourishing getting thicker and so much longer. But now after years of no heat and airdrying i noticed i been stuck at this same bra strap length hair for years and couldnt figure out why. Also my hair isnt as thick as I was able to get it to in the past and I feel like it doesn't absorb products anymore. I have high porosity fine texlaxed hair and have been dealing with scalp issues like seborrheic dermatis, sore scalp, etc. So im convinced I've ultimately damaged my own hair over the years of being a product junkie, over moisturizing, sleeping in my hair masks and drowing my scalp and hair in natural oils thinking that I was nourishing my hair. But now my hair doesn't react the way it used to. So I'm trying now what you've been teaching and looking forward to really learning my hair and shortening my routine for better results and to heal my scalp and hair. Testimony: I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge on the scientific construct of hair. I’ve been watching and re-watching your videos. I’m sure it’s been over 10 in the past 2 weeks. I listened and bought the tools and products and wow! Your knowledge and experience totally helped me. Cyn baby… omgggggg 😭😭 you are gonna be mad at me 😭😭 I figured out why my ends were still giving me issues… I was still using coconut oil! 😭🤣🤣 a recent live you did and went in on coconut oil causing you issues as a cosmologist behind the chair with peoples hair 😅 I quietly left and washed my hair I literally had just oiled my ends wit it 😭😭 washed twice since then and my hair feels soooooo much better and my ends haven’t split again since 😭😭😭 idky I just won’t fully listen to you and stay tf out of my head with products. 🤣🤣🤦🏾♀️ girl I’m just sticking to olaplex oil for my ends and that’s it. I’m tired 😭😅❤️❤️

Cyn I just did my wash and blow dry for the week. I didn’t notice any breakage in the shower because I had my hair in a silk press last week and I brushed through it every morning and night. So I didn’t really need to detangle and I definitely didn’t do it in the shower. I’m wearing my hair in a bun this weak but since it’s blow dried I can easily brush through it everyday. My stylist is going to do an olaplex treatment next week. But so far my hair looks healthier and my scalp feels cleaner

Oh yes love keep it simple. You don’t need all that product. Try not to do a bun for a week. That will cause breakage.
