🚨This video is in no way making fun of or talking bad about the video I’m reacting too. I’m complimenting her on being different from other KZfaqrs that spread mis information. This is a compliment and what I think all KZfaqrs should do even though it was not received in this way. I’m not saying she’s the problem I’m saying she’s one of the good ones telling you not to keep doing different styles that damage the hair. It’s within FAIR USE LAWS for me to use clips from other videos to make my points and I sent you to her channel to see her full video in its full context. By law I can use video clips to prove a point I’m not speaking on her in a negative way at any point. The only thing I directed toward her was “I subscribed to her” and “ go watch her full video to hear what she’s saying.” I then gave you the link to her channel. After that I’m no longer thinking or talking about her. Just showing “don’t play in your hair”! I’m simply showing you doing different hairstyles to often causes damage. Even your favorite KZfaqr is telling you to stop playing in your hair. Even your favorite KZfaqr are telling you different styles too often are bad and I played a clip of a KZfaqr say it. THAT’S IT!!!! If you take it any other way it’s your perception because that’s exactly what I said in the video and it’s so sad that I have to make post/disclaimers like this. Thanks for watching!! My thumbnail says sis told the truth. Some are so damaged that they can’t receive love. This video is made in love to help and to have a real conversation to get real change. I love you, thanks for watching! 🚨HAPPY NEW YEARRR🚨 Watch my new video!❤️❤️❤️ kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m7hzd5uWy7Ouo6M.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE

Ever since I’ve been following you and listening to you, my hair has been doing so well. I couldn’t even get it to straighten! Now it’s thriving so much. Girl you Are my favorite! You are out here educating Cyn! And I am so grateful🙏 thank you so much for having such a big heart to care so much about our hair. I love this video!! I've been heat training my hair for over 10 years and I have tailbone length hair. I maintained length retention easier heat training because I didn't have to redo natural styles alot. Also my hair would create more single strand knots while natural and would easily break off. I say do what works for you and don't worry about other people's opinion.

Hi Cyn. My daughter has naturally long thick hair. Her routine is very simple. She only washes her hair every other week and deep condition when she feels that she needs to She doesn't wear braids often. She keeps a trim when needed. She doesn't use grease or oils on her scalp. She keeps her hair moisturized. My daughter inherited her hair from me, my mom and her dad. Good advice. I'm an Olaplex and K18 user and my hair has changed for the better.

So right! My hair is fairly thick & about bra strap length. I don't wear more than 2 braids at a time, I wear a cute, clip-on shake n go wig everyday from 9-5 and I take it off whenever I am home. I don't want to do wash n gos or braid outs. They give me horrible tangles. And I will never do another slicked back bun (I have some traction alopecia from years of using edge control on wet hair to slick my hair into the shiniest bun ever). This video helped validate that I am now doing the right thing with my hair. It also helped me realize why I have had long hair most of my life---I just didn't wear too many crazy styles.

Even when my grandma braided my hair as a child I hated it, my scalp would get itchy. I now for years I only wear wash and goes year around. I don’t braid or twist my hair. I wash my hair once or twice a week. My hair has grown a lot and I see my stylist every 3-4 months.

I do note there are a small few remaining long-haired, healthy naturals here on KZfaq who still have increasingly long, thick, hip length tresses. Some of them have started their own successful line of products as well.

Sometimes people come to see you and they subscribe to your channel, because of a particular reason. If you started off doing hair, and you gained your subscribers this way, this is what these people are following you for. When you start doing something different, you will lose the people. Most May not be here to see the other stuff. Most people will stumble upon your channel because they are searching for something in particular. So I’m just saying these might be the reasons she’s losing subscribers and/or not gaining more. But as for what you’re saying, that makes a lot of sense! Thank you for educating 👏😊

@@IamCynDoll that’s just my point though, personally I’m here for the education, not here to be entertained. So when you veer from hair education, unless it’s something I’m interested in, I may not stick around to watch it. But i will pass along your name to anyone who’s looking for the info you have to offer. (Btw When I say you, I’m not talking about you specifically, its a general term, in my first comment I was referring to the video). But to your question, no, But I think eventually when I’m ready to post different content, I’d have to expect that I will receive a different response. Am I looking for those who want to be educated, or am I looking for a fan base(entertainment).

Heyy Cyn girl. I started a youtube channel this year and i make natural hair videos as well. I am not an expert or professional ar all. I prefer to wear my hair straight just cause it's easier for my lifestyle. The temptation to do all sorts of styles and trends and use products can be tempting but I don't wanna fall into that situation. I just wanna show that people can keep things simple and easy and at home without too much fuss or breaking the bank. I recently did a little video on the difference between heat damage and heat training as well. Your videos are soo awesome and informative. You tell the truth and keep it 💯. ❤️

I went natural in 2005 before there was KZfaq so I learned through trial and error until I found a stylist to help me figure out what I needed to do to maintain my hair. I stopped getting sew-ins after an unfortunate traction alopecia incident caused by an assistant to my stylist who did my braid down too tight. So now I just get my trims, drink my water and braids(box or crochet) every few months in between periods of wearing my fro.

Hi Cyn. I know you don't like them but my trichologists only have me wearing, 2 or 3 french braids, flat twists, twists and finger coils. They make me take down my hair every week detangle, shampoo and deep condition then put the style back in. Five products plus my Olaplex that I use once a week. 50 products and 20 styles is not the way to go. People are going broke damaging their hair. I get a trim every 10-12 weeks from my hair stylist and he puts the Olaplex salon version on. Just keep my life simple.

I really enjoy your informative videos. I totally agree with you regarding protective styling, and so called products that are great for natural hair. Back in the day, women washed their natural hair weekly, pressed and curled...and for the most part they were fine. I am trying the natural hair for the second time, and plan to stick with it. Now, as far as relaxers, I think something went wrong somewhere, not regarding diseases but as far as the health of our hair. I think with stress, hormones, and age, I think maybe at some point they cause slight damage as a combination of all of that. I chose not to relax anymore because my hair can't take it anymore, and I want to color my hair so., and my mom told me not to before she went to heaven...I'm choosing one chemical. But, to each his or her own. I kind of don't trust hair stylists anymore but only because of bad experiences I've had, everyone with a license isn't necessarily a good hairdresser. But, you seem to be.....keep the videos coming.

I know my limits and i do the maintenence she keeps my hair healthy. I always believed I might know about taxes however I'm going to a professional to do my taxes that is not my profession. After listening to you, I’m scared to make a hair appt. First, there are not a lot of Black women stylist in my community, mostly Latino women. After washing out the twist out, my hair shed massively. I’m ready to start over and begin getting a healthy head of hair. Hey love I don’t know anyone in Florida sorry. Go into a ulta DETANGLE YOUR HAIR BEFORE YOU GO. Do not go to the appointment with tangled matted hair. Tell here you want a detox with OLAPLEX 4c and a OLAPLEX 1 treatment with OLAPLEX 1 and 2 she will know what your talking about. Tell her what you told me about combing out your locks and you just need to reset your hair. Tell her you want the OLAPLEX treatment then for her to blow dry and flat iron your hair so you can truly see the damage and line of demarcation. Ask her to show you the line of demarcation before she cuts and get rid of what needs to go. Say all this via consultation and then book your appointment.

I am a Licensed in two states/ Cosmetologist also certified braid stylist. I did the big chop this summer, I become sick for about a year and I wasn't caring for my hair. My hair was damaged, matted, split ends and extremely dry. I was very uncomfortable with the big chop at first. I started washing my hair every other day, deep conditioning, moisturizer 🧴, leave-in. I took prenatals with high levels of biotin and folate. Now it's winter and I can wear a short Bob-crop style. Down to the bottom of my neck. Just six months. #So imagine what if we were doing this since we were kids? You have to be comfortable with wearing your real hair first. Do a protection style and leave it be. Please be kind to your scalp and co wash or pre-treat your braiding and wig hair with vinegar, lemon and water or regular shampoo. The chemical in the braid hair causes fungus, shedding and itching on top of not washing your hair for a month(which is a disaster 😂). Scalp infection comes from not washing your hair enough and chemicals from hair and products that go against (stunt) hair growth. These Asian beauty store will sell you anything. Read the fine print, go with as many natural products as you can, but still incorporate some (Professional use products for balance in texture and length (Paul Mitchell, It's a 10, Design Essential and Mizani and Vegan products are great (Co-products to go along with natural protective daily routine. Septis fungus causes a stunt in growth. #Stop using edge control and all those kanky products and not wash your hair in a few days. Your scalp is clogged up. That will cause the scalp not to breath.
