I'll have to try that now that I have an air fryer oven. Normally I mix onions and celery into my salmon. Instead of corn meal and flour I use quick cooking raw oats. Egg and salt and pepper. I haven't found a need for more seasoning than that.

Thanks for the unique recipe. Never heard of flour being added or spices other then salt an pepper. Think we dipped our patties in the egg. An we added corn. I remember the very 1st time I got the recipe an helped my grandma make it. Just wish I could remember the ingredients we used? Also we put mustard on ours. God bless!

I like remoulade sauce on mine! I use dill instead of parsley, but pretty much the same recipe you used! Do you find that they’re dryer in the air fryer vs frying? I’ve never done them in the air fryer before, but I’m going to try it.

I tried this recipe in my air fryer tonight and they were SOOOOO delicious!!! I just subbed Thousand Island dressing for mayo. I hadn’t had a salmon croquette in years! I’ve always liked mine just with mustard

My mother used to leave the bones and the skin on but she didn't eat it so what can I say. I can remember her squirting some ketchup on it top if you wanted it. But she regulated the amount it was a teaspoon maybe two teaspoons.

Why on earth would you throw out the highly nutritious and flavorful skin and bones? Mix them in and you can’t even tell they’re there. Those bones are the source of calcium listed on the label.

Fresh fish is divine, but I’ve always found that canned is the way to go when making salmon patties. It’s so much easier and more moist…I’m gunna stop with the adjectives now 🤭

Absolutely the worst meal ever invented! When I was a kid and my father would go out of town on business. I just cringed as my mother would make salmon patties for sure (as my father would never eat that crap either). One of my worst memories of childhood! DISGUSTING!!!!
