In 5 to 10 years, when sneakers are hot again, ppl will be making up stories about these same releases they passed on. Jordan 1s are all the same. They just look different to people when they aren't hyped. The Chicago 1s were easy to get in 2015. But now, they are the holy grail....🤷🏽‍♂️

Got these on sale so early that the store hadn't even gotten time to change the price tags yet lol. I love these for a couple of reasons: Chicago blocking, updated tooling, and the colour ochre being a prominent part of my childhood. It's certainly a bright colour, so it won't get as many wears out of me as my washed blacks and palominos do, but I think I'd keep these over my taxis.

Well being that I missed out on the "taxi" and the fact that I love high top more than the "yellow ochre" mids, I need these more than ever. Just bought the dark smoke grey in mid because they remind me of dunk lobsters with the varsity red stitching on the front of the shoe. Can't wait for these though.

This shoe is nice, but I’m honestly not about that mustard like yellow. I’m much more of a vibrant - neon type yellow fan, like tour yellow or taxi. I gotta pass on these ones. But I can say, I’m so looking forward to those green glow Jordan 1’s!
