Regular shocks are great. This kit is a great cheap way of doing it .. but looking back now .. Id rather have stuck on Bilstein 4600 shocks all around and changed the factory rear coil springs for Moog hd/z71 replacements!

Correct on the air ride part, BUT mine had failed, I did not want to replace everything. This cheap alternative works great, my truck is still a lot stiffer vs non functional air ride and I tow almost every weekend with it with 0 problems. I'll take a video for ya!

My 2001 xl sways and rolls like a boat .. I don't have 1000s to spend . Can I put on the front coil overs and do you think it will reduce the rolling threw curves much?

I do not recommend the front shocks that came with this kit in the video as they lasted no time and now they are worse than the factory was. I would get Bilstein 4600 shocks for the front. Also if you use this air ride delete shock for the rear end i recently found its better to change the coil springs as well for the z71 springs as they are stiffer.

I think with maintenance it will be fine. I believe the transfer cases and front differentials could be subjected to more wear over the years. But I wouldn't let it stop you from getting an AWD equipped Tahoe/Yukon if that's the one that you wanted.

It is a bit stiffer than the air ride, but my auto level was not working, I pull 5k lbs with 700 pound tongue weight. I feel it handles it much better now

It settled back to factory ride height. Rears are going great. The front shocks leave a bit to be desired. I think a front shock upgrade is in my future.

These are among the most reliable vehicles ever made, parts are easy accessible for these rigs as well and any issue you have best believe they're will be a million and two answers on Google to help you, BUT with that said it is a 20 year old vehicle.. with that comes alot of piddily problems. I have a whole notebook sheet full of repairs I have done to mine. Luckily these vehicles are cheap to repair and easy for the diy guy. As far as your compressor goes, I don't have an excellent answer for that. I could never hear my air compressor kick on and it sagged greatly with my camper attached. I went ahead and took the easy way out by installing this air ride delete set. The front shocks are NOT my favorite. I may be upgrading those to Bilstein soon.

Yea your right I will have to diy things it seems like for som reason my obd2 says it’s not ready to pass emissions also I turned it on the other day and the oldest clicking noise came from under the hood idk wth it was but it has not done it since. I just pray this engine and trans last in this 03 xl 6.0

No, basic tools is all you will need.

Yes unfortunately the expensive camera we was using just did not look or sound good. Probably user error because it is a professional cam. Using the cell phone now and it works great
