After watching this ending again, I have to include the coward line. It's so damn good.

Samael is one of the best characters in gaming. Kinda wish his boss fights were better, But, it's obvious, Ol' Sammy has a huge part, yet to play.

@@riteousrighthand6144 based on the lore that I'm aware of I'm pretty sure he's holding back (way back) most of the time, in DS2 he's basically toying with Death during most of the fight and only stops when he receives a scar on his face from one of Death's attacks. That's why fighting him in DS2 feels off, he's not really fighting throughout the ordeal.

@@riteousrighthand6144 another thing you need to consider is that Death is SIGNIFICANTLY more powerfull than War. So Death making Samael weaker then when we saw him as War is’t too far fetch.

@@florians9949 Perspective!! The Counsil orchestrated the fall of War and stripped him of the majority of his true power, when they sent him on his quest against Abbadon! Death wasnt manipulated and 'nerfed' by the Counsil! That'll explain the difference atleast. But, bottom of the line; Death ís said to be the strongest of the Four Horsemen! Still, with the 7th Seal now broken, War's full power is now also unleashed, and i think that even Death isnt thát much stronger then War at thit point! Still stronger... but not as much as the 2 games showed! War wás terribly strong, once you got ín to the game a bit... but Death.. omFg.... Death was a monstrous killing machine!!! Its the unique speciality of each horsement imho, that makes them thé most invicible and unstoppable force in existance! Where Death is the final word in quick attacks, able to chop up anything or anyone, War is the stoic Juggernaut that delivers the biggest blows to ány enemy? ...Fury is the ferocity in the very center of it, where Strife is the sniper-killer that picks of any stragglers or other targets of opportunity?

You can just feel the immense respect she has for War and his righteous honor. They both are just soldiers on their respective sides but she knows War would never, NEVER, play dirty.

I believe D3 takes place before 1 and if 4 does too then I would expect D5 is when we finally get the siblings all together in one game.

You should not watch but play the games! Also genesis takes place before War summoning to earth by council, before he "betrayed" the balance.

Telthalis what I want (and hope) is for darksiders 4 to focus on strife and his story and then for 5 to go full circle wrap up the ending in 1 and have all four of them as playable. I just need to wait 20 years

Death (The green Meteor) Used the Well of souls to resurrect Humanity, And Now has their souls and Has to have A place to resurrect them. Strife (The Purple Meteor) Has secretly Aided the Players as he Most likely Knows everything thing happening, But Just decided to play like a Predator, and Waited for the Time to strike. Fury (The Orange Meteor) Is the Protector of the Remaining Humans, and they Rest in Eden. She also has a powerful Talisman, Which can turn Humanity into a powerful Race. I also Can't wait to see the designs of the other 3 horseman.

It also has a fine sense of dark humor.

I have a theory that the actual weapon war was sent to destroy was in fact Uriel. They had her guarding the weapon only as a decoy. I believe she is very powerful and doesn’t know that yet. Her not knowing doesn’t allow her to take full advantage of her abilities but maybe she will find out in Darksiders 5.

They said in 2013 that "you shouldn't expect another darksiders game for at least 2 years". Well it's been almost that time and we haven't had any hints, or development, or any teasers at all for a new darksiders game. And I'll be perfectly frank with you...Darksiders 2 already killed the franchise. I REALLY enjoyed Darksiders 1, playing as War and the story just came together perfectly. They had great mechanics that hearkened back to the days of Zelda. Darksiders 2 kind of crushed that as well. Not to mention the fact that instead of doing a true "sequel" they did an analog sequel. That is, Darksiders 2 was set at the same time War was trying to clear his own name. If we extrapolate this, are they going to do the same thing with Strife and Fury? That'd be kinda boring. They did an awesome job in the first game, but they dropped the ball in DS2 and I fear that this may be a dead end of an IP.

Sykomyke The story for Darksiders 2 had to be made because if they made the true sequel first, people wouldn't know how mankind came back.

In DS1 we get to know War, in DS2 as Sykomyke would have wanted it, we get to know Death, Strife and Fury, all at once without really knowing their characters. DS2 was fantastic as it combined what we already knew for the first game as well as giving more depth to the character of Death. My hopes for Darksiders future installments are actually the following: Darksiders 3: The game start with Strife in chains in a dungeon of the Forgelands, throught memories we learn more about his past as a horseman (through interactive flashbacks), and his latest journey. After the Charred Council informed the three remaining Horsemen about War's 'betrayal', Death ordered his siblings to stand down as he would discover the truth behind the accusation, leading to a confrontation between Death and Strife (a mini-boss battle but with Death winning in the end). Angry, he ignored his brother's commands and go on a quest of his own, trying to uncover what Corruption is and if Death has something to do with it. On his quest, I would started it on a deserted world, like Kothysos (realm from the novel) as this is one of the first realms were corruption has spread. His journey would lead from Kothysos to a city in Hell, the Spider Realm of Ysslik, maybe something in between and eventually to the Forgelands, under the guidance of a Maker who eventually betrayed him, and would be the final boss, with the help of a corrupt (Warden) before revealing in his dying breaths that he sold Mercy and Redemption to two different makers (Ulthane and Alya). But before he can go on a quest to retrieve them, War breaks the final seals. The gameplay would be akin to a third person shooter, as his weapons are guns and the story would reveal more his personality, we know he is an asshole but that is all we know so far. Proposed Release Date: 2017/2018 Darksiders 4: Fury is tasked by the Charred Council to investigate strange occurances in new realm (the realm where Ostegoth came from), she quickly learned that there a fifth Nephilim alive (Sixth if you count Absolom but she would have no knowlegde about it), a Firstborn who didn't fight in Eden but fled after the massacre. But with the help of an Old One, one of the same race as Kargon (this Old one could be an interesting boss), the Cult of Van Der Schmash and GnoMad, he will have his revenge on the Horsemen and the council, And as a bonus, he wield one of the Grand Abominations: White Anguish... The Gameplay would be similar to that of Catwoman from Batman Arkham City but still in line with the other Darksiders games (countering with L1 instead of triangle/A), and why would I sent her on such mission, according to Death, only War and Fury are completely loyal to the council and more likely to do their bidding. Proposed Release Date: 2020/2021 As for Darksiders 5: The 4 against forces of Heaven, Hell and eventually the Charred Council with in the end a renewal of the Seventh Seals as a fourth Kingdom, a fictional kingdom rises (sheltered from the rest) Proposed Release Date 2024/2025.

Joels_Creed141 no not yet. Originally vigil said that War would have his story and Deafh, Strife, and Fury would be doing everything to free him. Darksiders 2, 3, and 4 were supposed to be their stories. And Darksiders three is said to release this year or next year

The 4 horsemen would be the least of their problems honestly speaking. There are forces far worse than them in the universe. The grand abominations, Samael, and most of all the Dark Prince (Lucifer) who is now set free after the final seal was broken.
