The Firefox is a hypersonic stealth fighter that can literally out run any missiles fired at it. The Airwolf wouldn't even see the Firefox coming, let alone take it on in a dogfight. But this video is still good fun. I like the way Gant is a bit nuts

Airwolf is very fast when on turbos, but the lady is still being limited by her rotors. Firefox on the other hand is built to surpass everything that Airwolf is built to excel.

I think in a more real setting Airwolf would have met the same demise as one of those choppers from the cruiser in the Firefox film. Nice editing btw. Was fun to watch.

The reason airwolf wins these engagements is because there is no film footage of airwolf being destroyed . The "firefox" bring destroyed in this clip is the "second Firefox " sent to take down the one Gant (Clint Eastwood) stole . It's all about what was filmed to be able to piece together in these mock battles . In a scenario where this was a real possibility , Firefox wrecks airwolf easily . Firefox in the movie has thought controlled weapons system, stealth technology, Mach 5-6 capability and can sustain it. 3000 mile range, 120,000 ft altitude ceiling . Airwolf is cool and all, but completely outclassed against Firefox.

@OptimusSledge sadly that was down to the re-edit of the video, the sound seam'd to distort because the audio levels were off in the editor i have the original edit somewere but i cant find it, if i ever do i will try to fix it because i love this one to, sadly back then wmv seam'd easier for people to use as it comes with windows & i got less questions when i distributed as wmv

i see their point in some cases, i mean what i upload (airwolf wise) is fan made edits to kinda celebrate the show, but some people upload the whole un-edited action scene 9wich is essentialy the main reason for buying the series (to see that main last 10 mins) i have all the street hawk scenes on my tube, but id remove them if its ever officialy released on dvd (fan edits do promote shows) but i think 10 min unedited scenes do kinda infringe and also risk fan works from deletion)

this was actulay 1 of my 1st vs edits, infact it may of been my 1st, but this was a re-edit because i was missing some airwolf clips that i new about but did'nt have (like when she flys over the water as though its flying over the jet wash on the water (and id dug out more clint audio, this ones basicly the dir cut :)

its a fictional helicopter from the 80's and in its tv show could fly at moch2, this video was put together to see airwolf fly against other things and more modern things (like the airwolf vs apachie) as a fictional tv series, the vids just a bit of fun, not a dig at jets :D
