The fact that Yamamoto is completely unharmed even when Shunsui is using his Shikai scares me. === Initially, when I first read/watched this, I thought it was just megalomania but Renji really is just an ant compared to Aizen. === Don't worry, maybe Renji will get called out eventually on what he puts poor Zabimaru through. === It really emphasizes how much of a menace a villain is when they can stop the soundtrack itself. === Mega brains is an understatement when you're the, at minimum, third smartest character in the universe. === Hōgyoku (崩玉, Crumbling Orb; Viz "Breakdown Sphere") === Never interrupt a villain during their monologue. Especially one as smart as Aizen. You can learn a lot.

Aizen's wicked smaht, but don't be fooled by his planning here. It seems almost impossible for him to have foreseen this but that's just because we don't have the knowledge of the world and it's history that he does. All we have is the snapshot of interactions between Ichigo and Co. and the Soul Society. At this point, we're basically as ignorant as Ichigo is.
