My mind was blown twice - now we can export presets from the VST/AU version of Flex Beat to MPC standalone, and export from the FL Gross Beat into MPC standalone! 🤯🤯

Thanks a lot Dj Ave Mcree, this has helped me tremendously just the quick show in the beginning got me on the right path. I'm so used to dropping a file on the USB and unloading it to the MPC I miss steps and boom I created some type error or corrupted my disk. appreciate ya coming back around to this flex beat program.

Will it appear in the normal menu with the standard presents or do you have to go to the file open icon and load individually. Ie will it be like when you add proper progression files to the the progressions folder

Dam. I was sitting there messing around in the MPC software wondering why Flex Beat wouldn't let me make my own grids. Good to know this but This should definitely work in the Main software they are selling it for and at least inside the MPC.

OK.....is flex beat "player" a lite version or is it a full version on mpc? i hope it isn't the full version . cause if it is then i just wasted my money on buying it from the website

I I thought you said they fixed it. I'm a standalone guy and don't want to be creating them on a computer and then loading them one by one into the mpc. Custom banks that have been created would be nice additions but not paying for them. To be honest there are a tonne of them already available in standalone. I will consider flex beats standalone fixed when we can edit them in stand alone and create custom ones in standalone. The flex beats plugin is a beast though, I got the free trial and after two minutes payed up the money before I even ended the trial. Can make timbaland style drum patterns so easily now.

Air kill filter. You should already have that and it literally allows to to kill the high mids and low end frequencies with a simple click of the botton. You can filter and high and mid and you will be left with a bass. You can further filter that signal. Or you could have the high and low frequency with no mid. There are other ways but that is the quickest and simplest plugin to achieve this with

Theres more you forgot about my dude! Im gonna make a video soon, but long story short, you forgot that you can manipulate the node behavior by right clicking in the solid nodes to pull up a menu that lets you make the sine, double sine, saw wavs etc.. so many ways to manipulate what kind of sound you want. 4:05

Honestly I think the flex beat player… is a half baked concept… great to have it available in standalone but if your limited to predefined presets even if your able to add your own. Not being able to create presets stand alone… really doesn’t make sense. It kinda makes it a “performance only” feature…

Yeah I agree. Definitely need to be able to create and edit in standalone. The existing presets are really cool but being able to edit them standalone would be a killer feature. Maybe flex beat v2?

@@jamesbinitie7249 deffo should be in v1. The MPC is a standalone device before it’s a computer enabled device. So having things function this way around is perplexing at the least.
