Remember when her rework first dropped and her stealth worked on towers too? And when her R1 wasn't a point and click? And her Q didn't cost so much energy lvl 1 so she could spam it more. And her R dmg was higher, iirc. What a kit, truly one of the champions of all time

I love how Pekin easily deconstructs every character in this game. I remember trying to learn this new Akali (still new to me!) and it really wasn't that daunting like how some other people were making her up to be and here we have it, Akali isn't difficult to play and she's just extremely rewarding and once I learned how to keep an eye on my energy meter, it was smooth sailing!

So glad you brought up Yasuo/Yone in comparison - it's the up-time on damage without resource consequence that makes them so out of touch with the rest of the game. Akali Q is much easier to hit but the principle is the same. Nearly every other champion has cooldowns and resource for a reason, I'll never understand their design philosophy

not only is akali completely unkillable because of her regen, she also has insane base stat growth, at level 10 she has 55 mr without any mr items or runes lol, thats completely cracked.

@@nic0rum922 yes she has way too many base stats, an assassin as hypermobile and safe as akali is should have to rely on their tools to survive, but now even bad or casual akali players can make her work, obviously a bad akali might not win the game, but they get out lane for free which should be akalis main weakness, like pre6

@@stryker9745 yy, its just recently i found out why she is tanky, her base stats are completely cracked, high base regen, high base mr and mr growth, couple this with dshield second wind and she will never die

I really dislike the fact that she has much hp growth and can take these regen runes. She gets tanks, and can survive through the laning phase. She's an assassin, she needs to be squishier with less health regen

The thing about Akali is that a majority of her players are surprisngly bad at her and all of her rune / stat websites reccomend stuff like conq mid when in reality youre going electro 90% fleet into 1 or 2 really bad matchups and conq into anyone like irel or a toplaner in mid lane or if youre playing her top. She's been broken even since the energy buffs its just no one is good enough to abuse them

yea, most of the time i prefer elec. however if the rest of the team is tanky... then i usually go conq to deal with them EVEN if the lane would really benefit from elec. but overall yea. i very often disagree with SO many akali players on what runes and items to take...

As a Viktor main, I really dislike this champion. Nothing you do against her matters, she sustains forever and rarely dies to ganks due to her kit. Late game, she's basically untouchable without 1 click ability stopping her.

hey everyone. 3:09 im not trying to be that guy that is annoying about it but Lee Sin's E grants true sight which reveals akali in shroud. that is the reason as to why lee is so strong into akali is cuz he can reveal her in two ways and doesnt rely on AAing as much as other AD champs :D cheers

I remember Lee E revealing stealth but I swear I have seen interactions where it doesn't. So just to be sure I looked it up and look at this. If I think I read this correctly it only reveals her if she isn't already stealthed. Lmao Lee Sin smashes the ground beneath him, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies, marking them for 4 seconds and, if they are not invisible when struck, True Sight revealing them for the same duration.

what i see some akalis do is just go straight shadowflame, you get so much pen out of it, and the item is better earlier than later bc you get the passive pan based on how low they are flat hp wise

I wouldn’t mind the change from the q dealing the damage to the empowered auto dealing the damage, but since it is a straight up nerf and would make her harder to play I would probably want like an increase in the size of the slow effect so instead of just the tips it would be the middle onwards so people can actually land the auto. It would be a nice change because once you reach a certain point in the game you one shot or get one shot as akali and the autos don’t matter anymore. I do also want to say that when you were talking about the q’s dealing so much damage you were like 11/2 something with a full mejais going against an immobile champ, so I don’t think it even matters that you were playing akali at that point. Most assassins/burst mages would be one shotting/near one shotting. So maybe it’s not as good as you are making it seem. Take this whole thing with a good bit of salt because Peking is without a doubt better than me in every aspect of this game, except maybe akali play time.

yes and sooo many people think that the R+E combo is a genuine braindead combo, but you can not only only use it at max range, btu if the enemy has some movmentspeed then it's significantly more difficult to land. If the target is slowed then sure, it's not hard, but MOST of the time i actually dont use the combo because they either have a dash that i know they haven't used OR they have a bit too much movement speed for me to want to risk it. a lot of the time it's better to just spam q's and autos until you can R2 and then E in for the kill

@@siqius4225 none of those work like qss which can actively get you out of cc even after the cc is casted. Hourglass is just insane in general since it is jsut a free like 2-3 seconds of being unable to be touched or take damage, but it also gives them a near free try at their next cc and banshee's is more like a black shield than qss. I think they mean something that can get you out of a morde ult or can be activated while cc'd.

I think the biggest problem it's just her shroud. Yeah she has crazy tons of mobility, but it's the shroud that makes her a constant threat and her tool to deny damage or escape with ease.

The fact riot refuses to buff assassins like zed and shaco because they are unhealthy champions. While allowing the yones ,akalis and irelias to roam the game for so lond is beyond me. Like how is zed harder to deal with than akali? Even if you were a bronze or iron player would you rather fight a fed shaco or a fed irelia? I just dont get it.

yes i hate this champion man, shit plays itself. Only way to kill it is when she outplays herself. I swear u can smurf on her and she gets 1 item and just 1 combos you then falls off late game again.
