I’m genuinely pretty excited about this new series. The most I have been in a while!😁 EXTREMELY my kind of character designs, absolutely gorgeous color pages, a drama, a female lead, just all a perfect package. Very excited to read more.❤️

I like them changing it up a bit in Weekly Shonen Jump as well, but think it’d probably do good in either. I read less Shonen Jump+ though due to time constraints, so I’m glad it’s in the magazine I keep up with completely. 😭

I love Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu so I was excited to see another Rakugo manga. The first chapter was great and I look forward to seeing the next chapter.

I love Rakugo! I'm happy more ppl are talking about it and I just hope that more ppl can get into it. But that's asking a lot, because Rakugo is really rooted in Japanese, and it's going to be an elusive samurai thing. More popular outside of Japan than anywhere else

Got goosebumbs, 4 chapters in The artwork, the dialogue, the theme about Rakugo Hopefully this got picked up for Anime Series 🔥

Already i have questions. How is she just meeting these pupils except for 1 after being in training for 6 years? She said she wasn't hiding it, so how tf did they bot meet if they be in the same building frequently? Unless they aren't because they are not there as often because they are higher rank. But 6 years? It just sounds weird to not come across any of them sooner except for 1

Unless he was keeping it a secret from them and made sure she came when no one would know? Ok maybe shiguma did this goofy stuff 😂 i had to think about it for a second

That’s how I interpreted it: he was staying low key & practicing/tutoring in places where they wouldn’t be found out, which is why some rumors eventually got started in chapter 2. Her? She was open with her family about it & whatnot & never thought twice about keeping it secret, haha.

I should get more into Rakugo to better enjoy the series going forward. I liked the first chapter and I feel like the more examples I see the more i can follow the Rakugo stories. Matbe look up the base stories for myself
