The reason it's bad because the art is bad. Not the animation, no that part's good. But the faces on the characters feel weird and not like the cutscenes in the game.

@@Liquidruby5 You aren't wrong in any way. Gosh, the game cutscenes are so beautiful.. here Joker scares me, and not in a good way. The mask is poorly drawn, the eyes are weird, joker's hair is REALLY strange, the nose destroys everything since the nose is one of the most iconic things of Soejima's style. Even the colors are wrong. Everything js bad. It doesn't look like the art in the game.

The art was HORRIFIC, I still am not a fan of the animation, especially with how good P3/P4 were for when they were released. Its like they half did the aesthetics when the game looked absolutely phenomenal. The looks are the cons but the voice acting is where this animation shines, they got the perfect actor for Ren, and it turns it into a decent show. The one thing the animations nail is the voice acting for the MCs, they haven't done a bad job yet on those.

The first time we've noticed him to have some conntection to the Metaverse is when is when he was spying on the group when they tackled Haru's father's palace. He accidently got dragged into the Metaverse alongside the group, since his heart has been distorted from the start as we realised his true intentions , however the reason why he could step in without problems is that he revealed that he and Shido stole the cognitive research Futaba's mother was researching before she died, so that gives them the advantage and the powers for Akechi to step into the Metaverse and begin the mental breakdowns from the beginning of the whole thing What I believe is that he was simply watching it all in the background so there is a strong possibility that he could overhear Morgana talk from then on, so that gives him the ability to understand Morgana when they're back in reality

You just answered your own question. Sae may have been in the Metaverse for a certain amount of time, but Morgana was nowhere near her to hear him.

No, in the game, Morgana actually did say pancake. The line was, "I wanna go to that huge pancake-looking place we passed on the way here"..

Of the anime? Persona 5 the animation. I recommend playing the game instead though, the animation in the adaptation is pretty shitty and the pacing of the game is better. Also it is a modern masterpiece so it's worth it if you're old enough to play it
