"And that's a relish!" "... mustard." Is some of the best comedic dialogue I've ever heard. Is it bad I can recite this word for word? Please Steve, Armando and Tim: bring this back. I enjoyed the new series of This Time with AP but Mid Morning Matters just goes all in, jokes one after another. Incredible how many they manage to cram into such a simple format: two dudes sitting in a DJ booth in (North*) Norfolk. Just guys being dudes. One of the funniest shows ever made.

You should also include the Gibbons brothers, I think they're the main writers of all 'post-I'm' Partridge. Geniuses all but it really does come down to the enactment at the end of the day, which is 100% Coogan. I don't think there's any comedy that crams as much funny per second as Partridge.

Steves character has never suffered from bad writing in the 25+ years he's been on telly, i'm so glad Alan is still around, what's so bizzare is that I realised Alan hasn't changed in all that time, as i thought over the years he had become more sympathetic, no, its because i'm now closer to him in character now as i approach 45, I see some of myself in Alan, which adds a new fresh comedic layer to his character, im laughing at myself, something i did not relate to when i discovered him in my early 20s. Working with Steve many years ago was great and a pleasure, I never mentioned however, that I admired his work, i wish i had.
