According to Don Mancini, originally Jennifer Tilly’s character was going to be even more over the top, but the studio told him that he was making her too awful, despite Tilly being game for it.

This one was HATED by many fans and critics when it came out. Yes its silly, but I thought it was hilarious. Tilly did some brilliant work in this, her comedy is spot on.

This movie was ahead of its time in regards to gender identity matters.

"My girl continues to carry!" Jennifer Tilly slays me! Gorgeous, hilarious, can laugh at herself. She's the total package. I really love the humor in Seed. Adding a third doll ups the comedy with Chucky and Tiff arguing over Glen/da, and all the dolls have great reactions and expressions.

This definitely was an insane one. I personally thought the franchise was D.O.A. with Seed but Chucky is still kicking today with his own tv series (and the absurd continuity is still growing strong) which proves that you really can't keep a good guy down.

This movie was a British co-production which is why there are so many English people in this movie including Billy Boyd who voices Glen(da), the family in the beginning, Psychs, Jennifer's assistant Joan, the limo driver, the news reporter, Fulvia the housekeeper at the end and the Santa from the fake movie. A few of them were also actor friends of Jennifer so it was easy to assemble a cast

When you get to the next two movies, make sure you watch out for the after credit scenes. You won't regret it.

The Chucky films work like a pop star- they’re always reinventing themselves as you have seen. If you really break it down- part one was a revenge cop drama- part two was a straight up slasher- part 3 was a military/coming of age story with Andy growing up and finally leaving Chucky behind- part 4 was a road trip movie and this one was a full on parody and just like Freddy’s Revenge- the gay movie of the series. Part 6 is amazing and part 7 is one of my favorites of the series just after part 2. So glad you’re enjoying these and your reactions are the most! Cannot wait for you to do more Friday the 13th.

Seed of Chucky was the last Chucky film to play in theaters. It was and continues to this day to be the most hated and reviled Chucky film by the majority of fans saying it killed the franchise. I personally love this film, Don took the meta element of horror that was popular at the time and used it to turn the whole franchise on its head by doubling down on the absurdity of the situation and making it a comedy which in all retrospect was always the most logical next step in the franchise. The next two films, curse of Chucky (2013) and cult of Chucky (2017) were released straight to video and dvd. Curse goes back to the straight horror tone that was used in the first 3 films and is a well liked film by fans. Make sure to watch the unrated cut as it has additional scenes and a post credit scene that you don’t want to miss.

The thing with Seed, is this is where a lot of fans stopped watching, because they thought the franchise was a train wreck, but in actuality, it was just before it’s time, and it’s always been a good movie. They do take it back to its horror roots in the next two films, but all of it pays off with the TV series. I love it so much. Same with all the movies, but i just think that they have amazing continuity and the story is able to keep going after so long. It’s been 34 years since the first Child’s Play came out, and the story has just evolved over time, and became amazing. And Jennifer is always the life of the party whenever she’s on screen. The Child’s Play movies wears the first horror movies i ever watched, and it was because of Tiffany. Because my friends showed me Bride Of Chucky, and I fell in love with her. Since it was a few weeks before Cult Of Chucky came out, I binge watched ever movie, to get my Chucky Universe game on point, and it’s just been a fun time. I can’t wait for you to get to the next few movies and the TV series, and i hope i see some Chucky season 2 reactions as well.

The next one, Curse of Chucky, is more of a "back to basics" entry - being most similar in style and tone to the original Child's Play. And it's one of the best in the franchise. Also, I like the implication that whenever the story is from Chucky's point of view, it's a black comedy. But when it's from his victim's point of view, it's a horror movie. It shows that this is how he views life: as a sick joke at everyone else's expense.

They was just having fun after that, in Bride Of Chucky, Chucky and Tiffany was the doll version of Bonnie and Clyde, Seed Of Chucky was them living like the Manson family being adventurous 🤣🤣. Classic It was like a crossover between Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream. They got the humor from Freddy and reality drama from Scream. 🌹🌹

mustache who got his face melted in acid. he was the director for the original Hairspray movie. he did some crazy films before that too, serial mom, cry baby, hairspray are pretty good, his older films, Multiple maniac, Pink Flamingo, Desperate living, and Female trouble are his more popular films but i would recommend at a private watch and not a react. However. Polyester is not as extreme and if you can find the special version, it comes with a scratch and sniff card and when a number appears on the screen you scratch that number and whatever the characters are smelling you get to smell lol.
