I always remember hearing Albert say in this video how he’s not an off the cuff improvising type guy and he’d rather take time to build and craft riffs and solos and give you a finished thought out product. I always related to that and it stuck with me. Sometimes you hear little things from pros that make you think oh I’m at that level or think that way I guess I don’t suck after all

yeah a lot of celebrities and artists have a combination of skill and luck plus some other variables but the difference between amateur and pro is just amount of time spent on ur craft

No, that's the little instrumental break in the middle of Rocket - it was a song off his Como Te Llama album 9 years ago. It's at around 1:47 of the song.

Weird.. I have a love/hate with the strokes. Industry plant band, albeit they do have some catchy shit. I’m here for guitar moves tho, there’s no reason this channel isn’t massive. Let’s go.
@RBGRBGRBGRBG
@RBGRBGRBGRBG 2 ай бұрын
They weren’t industry plants. I mean unless you think that people who happen to come from money and happen to be talented with decent ideas are industry plants… it’s not like a TS thing where their parents built them a studio when they were twelve or whatever, they def had help with rent while they figured shit out (which is a huge leg up in a city like New York) but I don’t think any of their parents set up meetings for them (it is said that Jules’ father explicitly didn’t support the music thing when he was comin up). According to the band, Albert Hammond Sr was the only parent of means who really helped them out early on, giving them a credit card for equipment etc. At this point, you know there’d have been a story that broke if it were anything more than that… I think they were talented and had the time and money to foster their talent. If that’s the definition of industry plant … then I guess so, I think they were definitely lucky and there was some right place right time stuff goin on but I dunno that they were plants

In a bunch of bands I was in the cords would get all tangled up. Then one gig I said don’t cross the streams, and I rarely happened afterwards. However if it did I would point it out again. It just so happens one of those bands is reuniting so I may have to say it again
