Lots of people want him to play another year. But i think he should still retire after this year because there's no guarantee he'll be good next year. Stick with the original plan and go out on top, never having to regret sticking around one year too long

dude is an absolute legend. I was a 14 year old kid playing EA Sports' MVP 2004 on GameCube, with this guy Albert Pujols on the cover. The career this man has had is just out of this world man. you have to think on some level, with modern technology like all our cameras and KZfaq and everything, this is the best we have to watch one of the greatest legends of all time. We can't watch Babe Ruth like this, but we can watch Albert Pujols and get very very close.

This video is the most watched baseball for me. Whenever a superstar retires, it's refreshing to see opposing teams and fans show dignity and respect. Sure they want their team to win but even they are just as excited for their opponents fans to catch a piece of history. I WOULDN'T even hesitate, f I had the opportunity to give a piece of history to a opposing teams fan, nothing else would've mattered. And that's my humble opinion.

I remember watching Albert Pujols when he first came up into the big leagues and immediately started crushing. I was always amazed by him, but I never could have predicted that one day 22 years later that he would be breaking such mythical baseball records and be up there with Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth. Albert Pujols is a legend and this whole season feels like a movie at times because you couldn't script this if you tried. The Cards fans interesting history..... At one time, the Cardinals fans were all around the country because they broadcast a large radio signal across states boundaries. People in South Dakota could hear the cardinals game on the radio. Those old fans have passed on their support through generations. And Many Cards fans are known to travel, even for Spring training. I think that many people west of the Mississippi were Cards fans, at one point, because that was their closest team, and they were accessible by radio. Maybe still are.
