Alderfer Three Sisters - Winter Hike

Жыл бұрынDeep in winter, and in between storms, we set out to Three Sisters Park in Evergreen with some friends on a beautiful bluebird sky day. The trail was packed snow and ice, which made for tricky footing on the ups and downs, but all good with our Kahtoola Microspikes. A nice break on the point up at the Brothers Outlook before heading back to the trailhead was time well spent, the weather was simply amazing.

You can really feel that spring is just around the corner! Beautiful blue skies! Can’t wait for the next one (and for the videos with Jerry from the Weminuche later this year)!

Well, it won't be spring around here tomorrow, another winter storm coming in! But all that snow will keep those streams flowing this summer... let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! We're anxious to get back out in the San Juans and hit Seg 24 down through Elk Creek and not the alternate into Silverton! Excited!!!

Agreed, Three Sisters has a great trail system, even better, come from the lake over to the Outlook, loop around and head back!
