A true modern fairytale. Unrealistic. Badly acted (apart from Uma’s performance), badly written with cliches used as template for the whole script and aimed at gay naive teenagers. Another proof that the only good gay-themed films are serious dramas and muted porn.

@@whatcanisay3862 when movies are so unrealistic and acting is so bad that it distracts you from the plot, the movie is not worth watching. A successful movie allows you to relate to the characters by being able to live the history through their reality. I’m not saying that fiction has to be a depiction of true events. But the least it can do is to be realistic. This film sucks at that badly.

Unrealistic!? Movies doesnt have to realistic!!! But What would be realistic in a LGBTQ film!?? If they don't end up together or one of them die!?? This movie is a rom-com. No tragedy, or that shitt... And the acting is good! You just shut it!

@@doris951 and you work on your grammar 🤦🏻‍♂️ I think it’s perfectly justifiable for me to expect a good quality gay rom-com (at least one!) that I could relate to even if only for 1h. This writing and acting is so bad, it keeps reminding me it’s just a movie. No good movie would allow for that to happen. Fact.

And if the acting is good or bad is subjetive... as least you are an expert at acting skills!!!!In my opinion, the acting is good! And for being a rom-com based on a book, the movie is fine, enjoyable, and simple. Most of people loved it!! No hate!
