He actually sounds like how I imagined Connor would sound like Which somehow hurts me even more? I honestly think that he was the perfect choice for this role and I'm not saying that Mike Faist wasn't amazing, (because believe me, I love him and his portrayal of Connor a lot) I'm just saying that Alex is how I've always imagined Connor

I am a big fan of Mike’s portrayal, so no one was more surprised than me when Alex’s version of Connor became my favorite.

I finished the book a couple of days ago it was about 11pm and I was in the living room and my mum was watching tv I was balling my eyes out I mean it is an emotional ride connors emotion is so more rich in the book definitely recommend it

Alex should have played Connor in the movie instead of Colton, he would have fit it on film better than Mike, but still is a closer performance to Mike than Colton

I composed mine on the way home one day... Of course, then instead of killing myself I came out as trans... Not exactly what I wrote a note for, but I enjoyed it a lot more. Turns out my life didn't suck, really... depression sucked, my medications sucked, and trying to pretend to be someone who I wasn't... that super sucked. everyone says it gets better... I was a little surprised when they turned out to be right.
