It's one thing to find time for a takedown, it's another to submit a big, strong guy. It will be a fabulous expenditure of energy for Jones to do so, and he will only do so if he gets that position easily. However, that won't happen, because Pereira has extensively trained in takedown defense and survival on the ground. It's just what you need. The rest is calf kicks and volume of strikes. So, rationally, I don't see any ease for Jones on this journey. On the contrary, if the fight goes to a second round, I'm convinced it will end with a knockout for Pereira.
