I'm honestly impressed how long Chick lasted in this show I thought he was just some pestering wilderness guy for one episode .

I feel like Chick is the writer's way of conveying how much they've loved writing this show throughout the seasons.

I'm sorry but tragic as this scene is... I literally cannot watch it without laughing hysterically... I dont know who suggested the 'ping be put in when Chick's head hits the typewriter but... its utter dark comedy genius.

The fact that Chick admitted he was in college is hilarious and unexpected.

Didn't like Chick at first, but he grew on me. One of the things Romero did that I didn't like was killing Chick.

Difficult to decide what to really think of him........ The only one who got to understand who Norman was....... Why Norman really was a tragic hero.....not a monster.... A victim, a young boy with a beatiful soul, made into a mentally destroyed killer by the events and circumstantes and the people who were supposed to love him, but dragged him deeper and deeper instead ..... Anyway, no excuse, Chick used and tried to benefit from everyone he met.... ....he used norman as well..... complex but cowatdish and corrupt character......... I don’t know.... Artistic, intelligent, but kind of narcissistic. I only liked him because he saw the real Norman...... Don’t think he felt anything, just saw it as a an opportunity to make money. Still, Noone else from the outsider knew Norman. For them he was a psychopath. Chick at least knew hw wasn't just a psychopath.

Romero just seems to shoot anyone who pisses him off in the slightest.

"The artificiality of scripted drama doesn't hold a candle to true crime." Says a character in a scripted drama series about something within that series.

I was waiting for Chicks name to be revealed as Alfred Hitchcock... so disappointed they killed him off 😭 Great character

That really seemed to capture the sound of a gunshot better than they usually do in TV series, movies, video games, etc.

It makes you wonder how much did Chick know about Norman and his mum. Did he know about the murders, did he stalked both Norma and Norman behind the scenes. Did he know all their secrets?

He's in 3 of my favorite TV Shows 1. Sons of Anarchy (as Harry "Opie" Winston) 2. The Walking Dead (as Beta) 3. Bates Motel (as Chick Hogan) and sadly dies in all 3 of them too.

I truly love chick, looks calm and know everything in the same time doesn’t bother his self in all of these emotions, and he doesn’t have that role in life and everybody story, so he just figured the things more than everybody and find the beauty of it and then love it. Just like me, He doesn’t exist, but the truth is he knows everything. In fact it sounds very sad, because of loneliness.

Poor story, Alex’s life was on a roll. Then he met Norma. How funny. Norma was so toxic and glad Dylan left when he could. She ruined everyone’s life that came around her.

I think I'm done seeing Ryan Hurst die now. Died in remember The titans, SOA and now this. OMG RIP opie!!! 💔😭

Chick is benefiting from something that brought Romero pain and heartache. Romero I think at some measure always loved Norma and when he finally had her she gets killed by her idiot psycho son. I think Romero killed Chick because he was an enabler and he unsuccessfully black mailed his woman about her sleeping with her brother. Chick was not any better than any other character on this show.

I liked Chic, he didn't deserve that.

Watching Ryan Hurst in Bates Motel makes me realise how squandered he was on SOA, he wasn't given enough to do as Opie & could be very one dimensional (although I still loved him), I thought it was poor acting, but he's amazing as Chick! They could have done so much more with him.

Romero is a real killer, not Norman...He is a real bad man with a thirst for revenge and low instincts ...He kills a unarmed man in a cold blood, who was writing a book and was expressing himself...It kills him just for what he thinks...
