Alexander has a wonderful presence and charm, in addition to being a very skilled fiddle player and song writer. He is one of the most popular winners of Eurovision, and received many more votes than anyone else before him. He is originally from Belarus, but moved to Norway with his parents when he was 4 years old. The dancers belong to the Frikar Dance Company, which is a group of men who combine modern dance with traditional Norwegian folk dance.
