You may know this already, but 2 of the members of BTOB (Changsub, wearing orange, and Hyunsik, just to the left of him in a white shirt) were given singing lessons from a member of a group called Big Mama. Big Mama debuted in 2003 exclusively as a vocal group, they don't dance. They're known as Professor-dols, because all of the members are vocal coaches and/or professors at various universities in South Korea. They have their own Killing Voice! It's absolutely amazing, with top-tier vocal skills and harmonies. They've been at this for a while, and they still sound absolutely amazing. I hope you watch it. 😄 BTOB and Mamamoo are also known as the male and female versions of each other, and the members are friends with each other, Changsub and Solar in particular. They're both amazing in energy and vocals. BTOB have amazing solo work, and Sungjae, the member Nia liked, is also an accomplished actor alongside his own solo stuff. Hyunsik is also know as "The Father of BTOB's Music." Also, if the audio sounds a little off in the Killing Voice, Dingo had to come out with a statement apologizing for it sounding weird because BTOB were so loud that they had to adjust the way they sounded lol.

BTOB is currently doing a mini tour in Southeast Asia. They left their original company (Cube Entertainment) after 11 years and started their own company (BTOB Company) late last year. They just had their 12th debut anniversary (March 21). They have said they are working on trying to put together a world tour and they will keep us updated. There is a reason why all Melody said that they truly wished that the whole group had competed because the results might have been a little different.

During Kingdom, they only have 2 singers and 2 rappers, and none of them agreed to perform the song due to the high notes that were supposed to be carried by 4 main vocalists. Their vocal line is top tier, their rappers have developed their emotive flow to fit their ballads, their ballads are a genre in itself. BTOB is 3rd gen, debuted 1 week before exo. Most of the songs you hear here are written by the members Hyunsik and Minhyuk. I heard them live and it is an experience… they are better in person and their stage presence is fun. Killing voice admitted that they had to do something in post because they didn’t anticipate how loud and complex their vocal layering live would be that the members voices are bleeding to the other members’ mics. 😂

Love me some BtoB! They are definitely underrated. You guys should also check out Mamamoo's Killing Voice. They're the reason why we have killing voice. The guy in the orange stripe sweater and one of the girls from Mamamoo did a musical together a couple years ago. Some people refer to Mamamoo and BtoB and the vocal king and queens.
