at around 9:30pm Tuesday 1/2/2024, units were dispatched to 4407 Wheeler Ave for a fire alarm called in by an alarm company, while the initial unit was in route, the call was upgraded to a working building fire, and units from around the region including Fairfax, descended on the warehouse to extinguish the blaze. one firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. units were still on scene as of yesterday (appeared to be a reserve engine and a Safety officer unit). PG County was filling in at stations in the city during the time of the fire.
