I watched, and yes, he is the greatest. At times, his playing, the way he attacks the strings, It's like a river of fire, 100 years of blues history flows through him at all times. the overall sound that he pulled from his instrument, its so full and rich, you can literally swim in it. there's tears in my eyes right now, no kidding. The crowd that gathered that night--what a crowd! they were more than ready to see BB King, that's for sure! you can really feel the excitement, the electricity throughout the whole show.

My best friend of nearly 35 years recently passed away. One of my fondest memories with him was when we went to see BB King and his band at the Seattle Opera House back in the early to mid 1990's. It was my first time in that venue and it really hepled to created an impressive sound. The show lasted over 2 hours with an intermission. At first we thought the show was over after 45-50 minutes but I guess the fans at the Opera House needed a wine break, lol! Anyway, the show was awesome and moving.
