the swivel motion when mopping near a wall is an older program setting from L10s when it didnt have extend mop. You can turn off the swing motion by go to setting -> wider coverage of Edges and Corners -> toggle off. Then it will stop swinging its body when near the wall.

This is by far the best innovation in the robot vacuum sector. Dreame is definitely overtaking roborock

i think in your next video of robot vacuum comparison, you can compare various premium models i.e roborock S8 pro ultra and also simulating a dog poop (wet the finished brown toilet roll holder) will be great! sometimes the robot vacuum company promotes how much can it detect a pet's mess but the robot vacuum still runs over it...

What a great comparison review! One question, you had Smart Home integration as a listed con for the Dreame L20 Ultra but I didn't fully catch that part. Are there any limitations one should be aware of when using personal assistants such as Google Assistant? I personally find it very convenient being able to control the robot via voice commands. Where I can both start/stop a cleaning run but also have it go and clean individual rooms as well as send it back to its dock. So if this functionality via Google Assistant is not available for the Dreame L20 Ultra, it will be much less interesting to me. I currently have the Roborock Q Revo but I'm thinking of replacing it with the Dreame L20 Ultra since I miss having a camera but also for the extending mop feature. I also think the base station looks less "cheap" compared to the Q Revo base station which doesn't come with a lid to cover the water tanks. Finally, it seems very convenient looking at the L20 Ultra to have the cleaning solution directly in the docking station where it will use as much as it needs automatically. In the Q Revo, I have so far only used clean tap water. I know Roborock has their own recommended cleaning solution but I heard of many people having the water in the fresh water tank turn "slimy" after using it. Sorry, this became a wall of text 🙂

In my case, the suction from the cleaning sink to the dirty water tank is a regular issue despite maintenance. Going off the robot vacuum topic here, am wondering if Alex or any viewers have a recommendation for air purifier. I keep seeing ads for Sterra Moon but haven’t really dived into my research. Hoping to hear some recommendations/ feedback to help narrow down my search. My basic research tells me we actually just need one with a HEPA filter & activated charcoal, all the other bells & whistles are totally unnecessary (unproven) & may even ironically pollute our earth. But any first hand experience with how much area a specific brand/ model can cover, difference you can physically feel, easy of cleaning, noise level & energy consumption will be great!

Hi Alex, was wondering what handheld vacuum or steam mop or wet&dry vacuum will you pair with the Dreame L20 to achieve what the L20 could not ?

Just note that the Q revo eats up cleaning fluid without any restraint. I’m literally topping up the fluid tank every 4-5 days. Add in the coat of the cleaning fluid, it’s not cheap. Using the Tineco one and buying it in bulk to keep the cost manageable. But none the less, it is nice having a squeaky clean feeling floor everyday.

Unrelated to the video but can you talk about Matter devices and ecosystem with regards to the Singapore market?

Roborock has a good and efficient service center in singapore. Not sure about the other 2. This was useful for us when the roborock gave issues after 2 years. So this would be another consideration.

The Q revo biggest con is the quality control. I got one where the dock stopped sucking the water from clean water tank after 2 days of use, got it replaced and the replacement one had the issue but right from the start after setup. Just returned it today and hoping I get my money back!

Hello Sir, I have a Ecovacs Deebot T20, and am trying to use it on multiple floors. Do I have to take the charging base to different floors to use it? It's quite heavy. If I only take the robot to a different floor without the charging station, after cleaning, the robot will keep trying to find the charging station. After a long time looking, it will stop and say it can't find the charging station.

Hi Alex, I can't stretch my budget to get the Dreame L20 Ultra so I was wondering if last year's L10S Ultra (the one you reviewed last year) is better than the Q Revo and T20 that you mentioned here?

We're leaving Deebot for a Roborock Q Revo. The mapping is ABYSMAL with Deebot and it seems Roborock has much better detections and mapping. Looking forward to ours arriving later this week. Dreame looks interesting but it's a bit out of our price range we want to spend and I'm not confident enough with my plumbing skills to attempt hooking it up to a water supply.

I saw that ecovacs deebot x2 omni is coming out soon. Any thoughts? :)

Hi Alex, noted that you also keep a fluffy dog at home. I am wondering among these robot vacuums you have tested in your reviews. Which robot vacuum stands out to detect dog poop as the last thing we would want from a robot vacuum is the pet waste being splattered all over during the sweeping and mopping of the floor.

Thanks for the video, full of detail. I used a ecovacs t20 , there is a problem , it keep.stopped under the bed and it can't return home most of the time. I have to lift it up and move it back to dock. The space between the bed and floor have around 20cm which should able to come back and I do in the morning with a lot of sun light in the room. I have returned. Now , T20 is cheaper then what I brought, T20 is $899 , Revo is $999, USD. Should I try the revo?

Heard online that the dust bag is damp after few rounds of vaccum + mop. Is that true? Did u use the vaccum + mop mode or vaccum then mop? TIA

Previously tried Dreame L10s ultra but mopping not up to my standard and sold away after buy Airbot L107s at $600 (half price of L10s ultra) 😂 with hot mop which do slightly better mop but can't do cycle cleaning. Not sure why Airbot have taken the product down 😢
