I chose this oven for its compact size but uncompromising wood fire oven experience. It's light enough to move around on a trolley (50kgs) but gets hot enough to make true neopolitan style pizza.

I use the tongs to move the fire. I always start the fire in the middle. Thanks for video I had my Alfa one for 2 years and love it.

People are complaining about the price . You get what you pay for, I've been researching for ages and this is the sexiest ovens and one of the top brands,As for the gas model being more expensive, just remember there's about $500-1000 on top of the overseas price to get it certified in Australia.I might even go for the 5 minuti for the extra $350

Its a good price for what it is. The other compact pizza ovens can't really compete as they only do pizza. This is an oven and a fireplace. Sit in front of it an chill watching flames in the backyard. Good times.

I'd still buy it again though. Not many alternatives in the price range.

Do you leave your oven outside uncovered? I have a cover for mine, but if I just used it and it starts to rain, the oven is too hot to put the cover over it. For those cases, I thought about just removing the chimney (which you have to do to cover anyway), and then putting a 5" vented cap over the opening to keep the rain out. Just curious what others are doing.

I just ordered a cover. So far I’ve been wheeling it under the patio when I’m not using it. But in the future It will be immobile so I’ll just cover it after it cools down. If it rains, it cools down quicker!

Do you regret not going with the Alfa Ciao instead if the Alfa One for a little bit more room/space? I need to upgrade from my Ooni Karu and my biggest complaint is the lack of space.
@firedfoodexperiments39002 жыл бұрын
So far, no. Its hard to notice from the videos but I have a general lack of space in my backyard. Anything bigger would be too much for the area. I never want to do more than one pizza at a time, and all the other dishes I cook are pretty much able to fit in. Sure a bigger oven would be great. Just tonight I did two side dishes one after the other. Would be good to get them done in one hit at the same time but thems the breaks. An ooni would be far too small fr what I wanna do. Plus this one looks cool as hell.

Hi, what's the size of the pizza you can insert into this oven? A pizza 30-33 cm. is possibile or there is not enough space ?
@firedfoodexperiments39002 жыл бұрын
no worries with a pizza that big
