Dude's been trying to get this into videogame form for a while. But he's being given a hard time. This PDF is literally the entire plan for the next alice game american mcgee wants to make. It has the entire story layout, all of the game's locations and characters. EA needs to either give this man a budget or give him the rights to the ip so he can find a publisher who actually is willing to give him the budget to turn this game into a reality.

Madness Returns is still one of my all time favorite games. No other Alice adaptation comes close. Hoping EA finally gives McGee and team the support to make the third installment cause all that concept art and planning is downright gorgeous!

Alice Madness Returns holds up to this day. Excellent gameplay, compelling art style, dark and interesting story with a surprise twist. I really REALLY want to see what McGee has in store next. Please make this game happen!

Hey, EA! Great job wasting American's time and resources by requesting a pitch and then binning the whole thing without the option to bring in external investors. I was so ready to head back into an Alice game. EA truly made a terrible decision by refusing making it or selling it to be made elsewhere. The concept art is just insane and looks so promising... After 10 years we will never witness what a great game it was supposed to become. But after all it is EA, I didn't have much faith in them to begin with.

This is such a labor of love. The details are just sooo good. The games still stand the test of time.

Even if this game isn't at "profitable" as EA would prefer it to be, who gives a shit? It's more interesting than the same FIFA titles they push out every single year, alongside all of the other games they just paint over annually. Okay if this happens I hope they're able to get someone like Chris Vrenna back to do the music. The first game's soundtrack was so good at being moody, industrial, and macabre and I feel like they really dialed it back too hard with Madness Returns. This trailer had good music and if this develops I hope they're able to keep that up.

IM NOT PANICKING. YOURE PANICKING. This is by far my favorite game ever and no game has compared to how much I enjoyed the Xbox 360 version of madness returns. I have played it multiple times and it is the reason why I obsess over Alice in wonderland it in general. I have seen all of the Tim Burton movies and I own them on DVD. Everything that has to do with Alice in wonderland that doesn't look cheesy, I obsess over it. 😂 This really takes the cake. I know that they've been talking about wanting to make this a thing for quite some time now and I think it's coming up on almost 5 years since they started talking about it and now he's saying that he wants to make it official. I've never been so excited over a game in a very long time and madness returns was made 14 years ago and I can't believe it's been that long.

The Alice 3 situation is one of those lose-lose cases. E.A. Was being E.A., as they are with many properties; - but in some details, it was a little bit of McGee’s own fault as well, for not planning ahead when it comes to ownership. In addition: he also made it harder for himself by moving to / setting up shop in an authoritarian nation that screws over game devs & publishers often. May just one of those sad things in history that just wasn’t meant to be. At least we have a glimpse into some possibilities.

I will NEVER forgive EA for turning down this masterpiece.

The game needs to happen already. We've been itching for more Alice content, especially with how little we got with Alice Otherlands, despite taking place immediately after Madness Returns (and how Otherlands only got two episodes and the bare minimum of publicity).

just finished american mcgees alice on ps3 and i loved so much, still got to do madness returns but if its anywhere near as good i hope there will be another one to play in the future. how could i have missed such a great game for that long :D
