This breaks my heart to know EA would so firmly reject this. Perhaps in due time, be it months or decades, things may change so that Alice Asylum could be realized. I had subscribed because I saw the concept and the ideas that you had for Alice. I had watched people play Alice Madness returns and I thought it was amazing. I think with EA’s track record is disgusting and I never have, nor will I support them because of their treatment to you. I did buy two Rabbit Plushies because I liked the designs and the fact you are amazing.

This is why copyright law needs to be reformed with hard set limits, such as after 10, 15, or 20 years the IP automatically enters the Public Domain, so that companies can't do like EA is and sitting on it but not doing anything with it.

Sad news indeed, I'll never move on from Alice. You and your vision of her world have had a vast impact on my life both creatively and as a whole. I wish we could have been able to embark on the amazing journey that would have been Alice: Asylum. The Alice games and artbooks/design bibles changed my life for the better and developed my own art style to an insane extent, and the story of the second game introduced me to the world of creative storytelling as a whole. I will always credit those games and stories for giving me the avenues they have today, and while it may no longer be something that is continued through conventional means, I will always have the lovingly created works that I've held close to myself for years now, and I look forward to whatever else you may wind up creating in the future. I hope you and your family have all the luck in the world, and I thank you for bringing us one of my favorite franchises of all time, regardless of how things ended.

Even if it’s not an Alice project, I’m hoping you’ll continue to lend your talents to game design in the future. Recently, many legends of the industry have decided that they’re fed up with how large companies run things, so they made their own studios and set their own rules. There’s still room for creative geniuses out there, and there will always be people who will stand with you.

EA is the one who failed, not you and never you. You worked endlessly and hard for and on Alice. You brought us a beautiful world and story that so many of us got to experience and become part of. And so many of us will be forever grateful for. I will never forget Alice or that World as it shaped many of my interests and brought me comfort. So thank you American, thank you.

People that played Alice connected with the game, with each other and with you and felt things that other games never made them feel. And ofc I'm one of them. The series was part of my teenage/ young adult years and i cant believe its over. I wish something could be done but even then you said you dont want to work on it anymore. This broke my heart so bad I’ve been an Alice fan since “ American McGees Alice” and i hold onto a thin line of hope that EA one day considers Alice Asylum or a miracle happens and it does eventually become a reality. With games like little nightmares. I still think this game could be bought by an indie game company. And, sell on consoles which accept indie games. Im not an expert but, little nightmares was a very original concept. And people who like little nightmares, will like Alice asylum.

It's going to take me a long time to grieve. Your Alice series was such an important part of my life and to see it cut short because of corporate bs makes me want to give up on this world we've created. I know it sounds overdramatic for a video game but it was a huge part of what makes me who I am today. RIP Alice.

I’m so glad you pursued it at all- because the art and seeing the creative process helped me develop my art and probably so many other artists from watching it. It gave a lot of us drive and knowledge we didn’t have before for us to go after creative endeavours no matter how wild. The team gave all of us all a lot, beyond the game.

That's actually so sad to discover just by now. I love Alice and your game series so much, you did so much for these games and something interesting, i dunno why but i do feel a love for any Alice in Wonderland stuff related and your game disturbing as it is showed me, sometime ago, how all that beautifulness and perfect world that is Wonderland doesn't exists, it can be actually some kind of nightmare or even more than that sometimes. But in the end is a game about hope, selfish, depression, madness(haha) and these bad feelings that we try to avoid every single time. But actually Alice literally put herself into her problems dying by them and enjoying the pain and in the end she conquered against them(at least i see like this). Well, talked so much, thank you so much for this game and hope anyone could try to emulate you ideas, your brilliants ideas, into something new, Alice is like our pet, we need to care, to love it and lose it, unfortunately. But at least we enjoyed together some very exciting, loving and special time together.
