It’s cool that this song is secretly about how the High Evolutionary feels. He never could recreate Rocket and it plays during the scene showing flaws in Counter-Earth

When I graduated high school Alice Cooper record the song School's Out it was the bicentennial and it was perfect. Im the biggest groupie of all Guardians of the Galaxy Misfits chosen family series have every awesome mix musix. I think the people enjoy the music the most raised in the 70s or the 80s either way and I've seen thousands

This fit so well with the motifs of rocket's backstory. He's always just been looking for happiness, not to mention the lyrics "my schemes end like all my dreams, ending in the sky" and "my dreams have all been denied" go so well with the motifs of "forever into the sky" I get they're supposed to fit more with Quill and his mother, as this song plays during that scene, but there is definitely a reason it was used. I could go on and on about how incredible this movie was, the soundtrack, the backstory, Rocket finally accepting his identity as a raccoon, et cetera. The villain was admittedly a little lame, but it might just go to show that despite making himself out to be a god, he was nothing but a mortal man. Now, enough of sucking James Gunn's dick.

I think it can apply to High Evolutionary too since it plays while showing the flaws in his design. His problem in the movie is that nothing he ever tried really gave what he wanted

I didn't like that much this movie compared to Vol 1 and Vol 2. Even the musics... even the story... and the other two were so much more funnier!

There's too much to say about this song and its use in the film: this song is about Rocket, The High Evolutionary, Quill's backstory, this Gamora learning about him and the team, and "The Perfect Society" of Counter-Earth
