Romulus doesnt need the big chap from Alien, onboard the Sevastopol in isolation there where xenos and facehuggers. They came from somewhere. Fede has stated he is a fan of isolation and his film is a direct influence of the game. Alien: Isolation 2137 > Alien: Romulus 2142, Weyland Yutani are fully aware there was an alien lifeform onboard the Sevastopol station and that a catastrophe happened when they lost it. Amanda Ripley was recovered in deep space, because in Aliens Ellen Ripley is told her daughter died in old age. Somebody must have got off of Sevastopol with some eggs or contained a xeno ! When Amanda arrives on The Torrens, a lot of people have left the Sevastopol, 100s of people worked there and 1000s of people used it, contracted workers, company executives etc........... Fede is so inspired by Isolation, rumour is that in Romulus on a wall, there's an easter egg nod to the game, he has a card slot save point, that appears in Isolation, in the film. You know this is probably true because in the trailer, they are running down a corridor and throw a flare, and its littered with boxes, this is classic Alien: Isolation.

@@ibegyoushuuup This seems really weak script writing then, because you have to then explain how all those aliens and eggs are on the sevastopol. Seems a mess, at the same time Romulus takes place, Amanda ripley has reported to weyland-yutani her experiences of aliens on the sevastopol.

@ibegyoushuuup No, it hasn't. All it's been is rumour, assumptions and a hand full of websites copy and pasting the same "We've been told..." line to get people hyped up. I'm not saying it's not BC, but there hasn't been any official confirmation it's that xeno (and likely won't be any), and given the events of Isolation also occurs before Romulus, I'd say it'sstill open for interpretation.

2 synthetics, 1 is the black guy, 1 maybe the beta version of Bishop or even a new synthetic like Christopher Samuels from Isolation. Isolation happens a few years before Romulus, and there were tons of xenos and facehuggers in Isolation.

I Just HOPE This film will bring GREAT interest in Ridley Scott to finish the Alien story, the film after Alien Covenant, want to see a great WAR FILM or a great horror and action rolled into one film, In that film where there are Aliens from the Android David 8 acting as Walter the Android, Engineers hunting David 8 down and the new Weyland Yutani owner's also going to where David is and have with like three story lines all colliding together for a great epic third act of lots and lots of action all with different reason's being on that plant and with the film ending with that derelict engineer ship on LV 442 In first Alien film

I hope not, I have no interest in another movie about an android. Also, what's worse is that the human characters had no personality, except for maybe two.

@@earthcitizen3939 That was in Alien Covenant, in the next film, it is a totally different story, with engineer's, alien's and the Weland Yutani people the owner's etc with space marines too, be a totally different tone to Covernant

I thought weyland yutani died in Prometheus

It was Just Peter Weyland who died in Prometheus, Yutani wasn’t there then, and I think Weyland Yutani merge together as a group me company a few years just after Prometheus in 2093 and before Alien covenant in 2103

I love the trailer, sounds great, looks great , the style looks great and spot on to the original films, the story line sounds great , the director seems great to me, having seen that film, ' don't breathe', don't now they doing with the black android and the sister being white, maybe she is mixed, i'm sure in the film it will make perfect sense, but overall i'm looking forward to this film, and just hope they start writing for the next film after Alien Covenant
