The first shot of the lab with the doors opened played a trick with my eyes. The ceiling and the station beneath it very briefly looked like the Queen's head. The ceiling part being the large crest she has.

The 3 smaller tanks on the left side look to me like there is face hugger eggs inside them. Looking forward to this movie

The lab looks very similar to the medical room from the first Alien movie.

The aesthetics and set design are great in this shot, very Alien / Aliens esque. Hopefully this means this facehugger is a product of a Dallas / Brett egg transform on an unlucky 'subject', as established in Alien (so acts as a starting point for the alien life cycle).

Would make sense to have Big Chap in stasis, being the center of attention in the lab and those smaller ones being either eggs, looks like petals sticking up, same as the eggs when they are open.

That whole dark area on top and the long rectangular shape that goes back looks like the shape of a Xenomorph queen's head.

Definitely takes you back to the technology from the originals.

At the 2:00 mark... the ceiling kind of looks like an xeno egg shape... kind of ominous... Symbolism & what not, the birth place of a new horror! Hyped for this movie more & more!

I would love to see the xeno in bright white corridors at some point too, like you get in Alien Isolation. That contrast and lighting on the creature looks amazing and with todays creature effects it would look so believable.

The centre combined with the roof looks like an alien Queen. The lights on the floor represent the eggs.

How come the captured face huggers never melted through the tubes like Kane's helmet glass?

The orange thing hanging there could be Xeno skin shedding? Perhaps a discarded biohazard suit? I am getting excited for this movie. The set design elements at least.

Almost looks like the first time we see the queen in full frame. The way the ceiling is cut out and shaped with all the small details looking like the queen head and dome along with the perched body, the table. And the railing being the supports she has holding her up.... idk I love alien so much I'm probably looking way too deep but just thought I'd point that out. 😂

To me it looks like the top part of an egg, You can see the little opening slit down the slide

Above the test tube it looks almost like rollers like you see used to help move really heavy items at a shipping facility. And to the right there is 1 stool/ chair knocked over. Why only the 1? Sorry I keyed my items I noticed before you pointed them out that you saw

Ok this idea may be way out in left field but what if the largerntank with the white fluid contained David and thats how they were healing him. When the android get cut or injured milky liquid appears much like blood to them

You ask what catches your eye: The pipes and the 80's interpretation of what the future looks like, it's going to be brilliant from the early looks, can't wait.

Looks like an ovomorph in the smaller jar to me. Can almost make out the open petals at the top. I wonder if these new facehuggers are just older and not fresh out of eggs. Whos to say they dont get barbed fingers and a sharp tail after a while to increase their chances of getting a host if its taking a while?

I may have issues with the story and how it comes to fruition. But I always love excitement that comes from you Mr. H about what you’re excited about when you talk about certain films that you love so much it is something that I absolutely enjoy like I said before I have some issues with the story for alien Romulus, but I love the fact that you are so hyped on this like a child it is so awesome and this is why I’m subscribed to your channel.

First thing i notice the ceiling is so much shaped like a Alien egg a, and at the same time it has both Style's of dark and light, which looks EPIC!

Looking forward for the original Alien film coming out for it's 45th anniversary. I'm showing my age but I saw this as an excited 15 year old. I don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks but where you have the orange cloth, left of the tank in the centre of the screen. The wheeled trolly appears to be sitting in a pool of blood, with the wheels on the right could be covered in blood as well.

First thing I noticed was how the lab looks like the Alien Queen’s head crest.

6:00 Certainly could be containers for facehuggers and the the one in the middle could be a fully grown Xenomorph. That orange/red cylinder could be for liquid nitrogen.

Ok, so you made me examine it! First off, I just want to say that I LOVE this type of content - an excited and specualtive Mr H holds much more appeal than the alternative! SO - I don't agree that the tank in the centre is THAT much bigger than the examples you show from Aliens (and yes, gorgeous set design). Bigger yes, maybe, but nowhere near full size Xeno size. Just look at the chairs either side of the central station for a sense of scale - although admitedly depth of field comes into play, I am unconvinced it's making THAT much difference. Facehugger yes, Bursters, possibly, full size Xeno (in this shot, at least) I don't think so. The orange thing you mention looks to be just a coat, or top of some kind hanging on the back of the chair - what really piqued my interest (aside from the aforementioned gorgeous set design/lighting) is what appears to be a chair fallen onto it's side on the right...

the shape of things seem to echo a queen to me, the recess in the ceiling resemble the Queens crest, the center piece resembling her head, railings and light on the steps making me think of her legs and arms and right in the middle perhaps mirroring where a mouth would be, there's vase with could have a face hugger inside

I'm loving all of the Alien Romulus content your putting out . So excited to get back into the Alien Universe on the big screen . Got high hopes for this film. Fede has yet to let me down with anything he's directed . He's produced some duds but never directed one .

It is interesting that the whole room is pretty small and also circular. The doors that are in front of it are very monumental and perhaps it means that Weyland-Yutani was really gathered all the interest in the Xenomorps just because of the progress that they made inside this room, right in this station.

looks like it may house an entire xeno egg. Possible put in containment in the jar on site and taken back to the lab for analysis, within a contained computer interface.

As far as a study goes this shot really highlights the center as being bright but the edges and parameter shows darkness but it so close to the light center that you get very much the sense that, even when you feel safe danger is so close to you which many of the Alien films had as a part of them.

Maybe the original alien from the first film in a stasis that is pick up in space 🤔

I think the movie probably is about the xenomorph from the first alien movie(which was blown outer in space). Probably the Romulus spaceship picks it up,unaware of what it is and then gets infected till all but one is killed and then the person shots itself out in an emergency pod ? Allmost like the first movie over again ? When will we see something new ?

I'm thinking this could be great. They nailed it hiring Fede Álvarez. He's got an eye for terror.
