As crazy difficult as this game can get, it won't even hold a candle to Hexcells Multiply.

One tip is if you have multiple hints telling you the same information, then cross off all but one. For instance, if a blue cell with a number tells you information that a number in a black cell also tells you, then marking off the blue cell with a number makes it easier to keep track of relevant hints.

The fact that he can narrate himself in real time while solving these puzzles as fast as he is shows that he's on a different level than the rest of us. We are not worthy.

Since you played mobile games: May I recommend "Trainyard"? A game with a grid, where you have "depots" with colored trains in it, "stations" that need to receive certain colored trains, and other blocks that cut or color trains. The interesting part comes from the fact that trains can merge or color each other by colliding/crossing. Gameplay is strategically placing rails and switches to produce the correctly colored trains and lead them into the stations. The style is very minimalistic, but the challenges become quite hard, so I thought it might be up your alley. Got reminded of it when I watched your Cosmic Express videos.

I really liked the pacing on this one. Just fast enough for me to barely understand what was happening and to be impressed by your speed.

Near the end of 5-3 tyler mentions his 'old counting method' This struck a note deep in my heart. As a long time lover of minesweeper (and decently skilled at it too) I too have resorted many times to counting the remaining bombs in an attempt to solve one last seeming deadlock. That simple comment has washed away any doubt in my mind. Tyler is a true master of minesweeper type puzzle games

First off, Tyler, you're great, and your videos are great. That said, there was a completed 1-column from the very start of the first level that you seem to have completely missed from the very beginning despite all of my mental yelling at you from the other side of my laptop's screen. Shame on you. :P

I can't think of a concrete way to actually do it, but I hope they can find a way to make a puzzle that is only solvable because of the fact you know that every puzzle must be solvable without guessing, where you can say "if there was a blue right here, it would force me to guess where the next blue is"... It would be incredibly difficult to pull off, but I think it's possible to make a puzzle like that using this ruleset...

5-2 took me about 4 mistakes and almost half an hour, really made me suffer but damn you re good

I was so sad when i found out these aren't available for mobile - it's the first puzzle game without story elements that i've become really addicted to. Fortunately there is a mobile fangame called SixCells that's not bad.

Oh you think this is a hard version of minesweeper, play demon crawl, its pretty much just minesweeper on crack, with items, with lives, and with bosses and an actual story. Edit: i now realise that he did do a few videos on demoncrawl
