7:00 Misclicking like this is my most hated part of playing Hexcells. I am such a perfectionist that if getting 1 mistake like that means I don't get all points for the level, I will make myself do it over again. I have to pay just as much attention to not misclicking as I do to logically deducing these puzzles.
@luziferius3687
@luziferius3687 2 жыл бұрын
I think it allows a certain number of miss-clicks, before lowering the score from “perfect” to “completed”. So if your own goal is “only” a perfect score on the game’s level overview, you can afford a few misses per level. If your _own_ OCD or whatever forces you to have a zero in the mistakes counter when completing a levxel, you are on your own.

I noticed when he made the mistake of marking off the nine, which was his only way a fully deducing that area above the nine, and wondered for a while when or if he would realize his mistake. I'm happy he didn't get frustrated at the end and didn't resort to just guessing the remaining few. Instead, he found his mistake and solved it the normal way.

I feel like hexagons are already making it easier by lowering it from 8 to 6. Adding these extra rules with brackets and dashes, and numbers outside, and numbers on blue hexagons, that just seems to make the game very easy. But then they throw in question marks. I wonder how it would play without these extra rules. Just plain old minesweeper with hexagons.
