Firstly, Candy sent you some really nice art supplies! That’s the first watercolor set I’ve seen that came with a fine liner, and those post cards were so adorable!! You did an amazing job with the piece, the line art was heavenly. Piece suggestion name: “Daydreamer”

Hey! I really enjoy your art, it’s really relaxing seeing you paint. Thank you for the video, I was curious about the quality of the art supply you can find on Aliexpress. It’s good to know about a good seller. Apart from that I had one question, how do you transfer your drawing to your watercolor paper? It looks super clean
@weronoyume5 жыл бұрын
Oh I have a light pad! I just trace it on the watercolor paper with a 0.3 mechanical pencil with a b lead usually! ☺️ Because it’s not good to erase on the watercolor paper I use a kneaded eraser that’s more delicate!

Here’s a question: how do you figure out where you want to put the highlights? Are there specific places that are always in highlights in a portrait? Thanks 🙏
@weronoyume5 жыл бұрын
Oh in this case I used a reference photo ( it's in the description) but overall you can make light and shadows studies to see which one works the best! Overall the protruding parts are lighter! But it all depends on the lighting situation! Observe your face in the mirror when you have some doubts!

Hi!! I really like your channel!! I would like to know, because you said it so quickly, how you get your sketch from your iPad onto your watercolor paper? I think you said you print directly onto your watercolor paper?? If so, what printer do you use that will do that?? If not, how to you transfer onto your watercolor paper?? Thanks!
@weronoyume5 жыл бұрын
Oh no absolutely! I print it and then I transfer the drawing on watercolor paper with a light pad or carbon paper! In my last video I show my full process!

I noticed that the masking fluid was light green. How do you remove it? Does it dry into white or do you have to peel?
@weronoyume5 жыл бұрын
Yes is light green in colour so you see where it is! I just peel it with an eraser or my fingers! For some reasons it also smells like mint! It dries in a very very light green!

@nomad71964 жыл бұрын
2:18 Just letting you know (in case you didn't know already and just wanted to use that term) that shook is actually just slang and isn't technically grammatically correct. The correct form would be "I was shaken up". I know that as a non native speaker stuff like that can become pretty confusing, especially when even a lot of native speakers begin acting like the slang is actually the proper form so I just felt that I had to point it out.
@weronoyume4 жыл бұрын
I actually knew that, but when I record voice overs I get nervous and I make a lot of mistakes without realising it and then it's too late to correct everything! Thank you for pointing that out! It's always helpful when people do that so that I can actually learn English 😂
@nomad71964 жыл бұрын
@@weronoyume No problem! ^.^ Also, we all experience that and make mistakes so don't worry. I actually had to check multiple times because I couldn't tell if you were actually a non native speaker or not. Your english is great!
